Your Art's Desire Your Art's Desire was begun in August 2003 to promote my services as a professional artist.

People hire Janet Hall Kerchner, artist/owner, for several reasons, such as painting portraits of their loved ones in oils, pastels or watercolors, developing digital logo designs, digitally restoring damaged photos, sculpting, doing scenic painting for local theaters and events, sewing church paraments and banners, drawing pen and ink pictures as well as full color book illustrations, and basically using her varied artistic skills to meet whatever their "Art's" desire.

I've started out the year with more health and more productivity. I finished the portrait of "Charli" and even taught a Wine & Painting class. I still have a couple commissions ahead of me, but it was fun painting a landscape while teaching some wonderful women how to paint. They did a great job, too, for the 2 hours they spent.

I will be at the Infiniti of Annapolis grand opening this Thursday, May 3, from 5-9 to represent the 8 paintings of mine that are among all the other local art works that are for sale and are displayed on the showroom walls.
