It's coming upon that time of the year when life gets faster and faster. The tax bills arrive, Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Christmas is coming fast. So just to give everyone a little break after Thanksgiving, the ARNOLD HISTORICAL SOCIETY will be hosting their ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE the first SATURDAY in DECEMBER from NOON to 4 PM at the ARNOLD MUSEUM. Drop in, view the Museum, have some refreshments, and visit with the members. Everyone is welcome.

Missed a lot of you at last night's meeting. Please make an HUGE effort to make it to the next one which will be on SUNDAY, NOV. 2nd at 2 P.M. Officer Election will be held in addition to discussing future plans and goals that you want for the museum. This is your chance for your input that you foresee for our future. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Remember, it's the FIRST SUNDAY in NOVEMBER.

Sad news that one of our members who was very active until a few years ago when his health began to fail has passed away. Funeral Services will be held later this week for Carl E. Fisk Sr. He will be missed as he was always there to help in anyway that he could and always had a kind word for everyone.

Here we are again in the month of October with the goblins. We will be having our Oct. meeting next Monday, 13th at 7 p.m. at the Arnold Museum. Please try to attend as we have some serious things to discuss. Pass the word to those who aren't on FB also and/or aren't in the egroup. November meeting will be held on the 1st Sunday in November and is officer election day. Be thinking about giving some of us a break and volunteering for an office.

MONDAY, AUG. 11th at 7 P.M. JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER OF THE MONTHLY MEETING on MONDAY - AUGUST 11 at 7 PM. Sandy will NOT be serving this lovely spread at the meeting but there will still be lots of friendly people there to enjoy along with the meeting. Hope to see you there..... Got any ideas for the TRIVIA NIGHT in March? Bring them. We love new ideas. Also any other ideas????

Many of our senior citizen members have passed away during the past few years and we find outselves extrememly short in docents to conduct tours. THEREFORE THE MUSEUM IS NO LONGER OPEN AT TIMES OTHER THAN APPOINTMENTS SCHEDULED. We are more than happy to arrange tours at most anytime and prefer daylight hours after10 A.M. Just call the museum at 636 282-2828 to schedule.
