Can anyone identify the Arlington business this lighter represents? It says Z. S. Lowe and the address is 4617 Wilson Boulevard, phone: 524-1333. We'd like to use this in an upcoming exhibit at the Arlington Historical Museum about the giveaways that Arlington businesses did as promotionals.

The Aurora Hills Women's Club has been a long-time supporter of the Arlington Historical Museum at the historic Hume School and this year, they continue! The 2019 Holiday Wreath Sale is now undwerway!! Funds raised are designated to two charities: the Arlington Historical Society (supporting infrastructure maintenance for the Hume School building) and for 2019 / 2020 Jill's House, a care facility for intellectually disabled children providing respite for their families.

The funds donated from their wreath sales have been used every year for the upkeep of the Hume School which houses the Arlington Historical Museum and its collection of artifacts. This is the oldest remaining school house in the county and was built in 1891. In recent years, funds from wreath sales have gone towards a much needed new roof, new windows, and window shades that protect the exhibits from harmful sunlight. Please consider buying a wreath. They're beautiful and every time you see it on your door you'll be reminded that you help preserve Arlington History.

Visit their website to learn more, pick your wreath, and order.
