The Upstairs Gallery

As part of the Arlington 150 Celebration, The Upstairs Gallery artists were challenged to create paintings highlighting key icons and significant images of Arlington history. Court Bailey drove around the city looking for inspiration and found his painting at the corner of Center Street and E. Division Street.

The historic Vandergriff Building is downtown Arlington's oldest standing commercial structure. Built in 1927, it soon became the home of W.T. "Ho**er" Vandergriff Chevrolet. It is appropriately recognized as a City of Arlington Local Landmark.
