Nell Byrd gave a watercolor demo and workshop for the Ardmore Art Guild today. She stressed the importance of conveying the primary interest to the viewer, decide on the focal point and know where the light is coming from. Nell is a good instructor and gave two informative demos

Nel Byrd will conduct a watercolor workshop on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the painting classroom.

Nel will give a demonstration in the morning and a workshop in the afternoon. The demo is free to AAG members and the workshop is $50 per person with a minimum of 10 people.

Please let us know if you are coming, as soon as possible, as we really need 10 people for the workshop to make.

The regular monthly meeting of the Ardmore Art Guild is Monday, February 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the art studio painting classroom.
At 9:30 a.m., Traci Martin will give a charcoal drawing demonstration. The demo will be followed by an afternoon workshop in which Traci will help with our drawings. Bring your charcoal pencils, sticks and charcoal paper or your favorite drawing medium. The program is free to AAG members and only $25.00 for non-members.

Kelli Folsom will present an oil painting workshop at the Art Studio on Friday and Saturday February 5 and 6, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

The monthly meeting of the Ardmore Art Guild will be tomorrow, Monday, November 16 at 9:00 a.m. at the art studio. Following the meeting, we will watch a live drawing video. Naturally, we will enjoy lunch together.
