We love seeing learning come to life in the classroom! 🏹📚

Fourth-grade students at Cleburne County Elementary School recently explored Indigenous cultures with educational materials borrowed from the Anniston Museum of Natural History.

We’re always excited to see pieces from our educational collections helping students connect with history, culture, and the natural world beyond the museum walls. Thank you, Cleburne County Elementary School, for sharing these wonderful photos! ❤️

This Saturday, August 22, spend the day exploring Anniston Museums and Gardens with FREE admission from 10 AM–5 PM!

Wander through the Anniston Museum of Natural History, discover incredible stories and artifacts at the Berman Museum, and enjoy the beauty of the Longleaf Botanical Gardens—all in one visit.

🎉 Special Museum Day activities will take place from 10 AM–2 PM, so come early and make a day of it!

A brand-new temporary exhibit is coming to Anniston Museums and Gardens, and we're giving you a sneak peek...but only a tiny one!

Every Monday until the exhibit opens, we'll share a close-up photo of an animal or specimen featured in the exhibit. It could be an eye, scales, feathers, fur, a footprint, or another unique feature.

❗❗ Round 5! Can you guess what it is? 👀

Comment your guess below each week's post. You can play every Monday, and each correct guess earns one point. We'll keep the answers a secret until the exhibit opens, when we'll reveal each mystery animal and announce our winners!
