A basic keepsake box of red oak and paduk. I like the clean lines, grain, and color. Made three since it was for three brothers, so no fighting.

Finished this a while ago. A small chest of elm and walnut with slightly raised dovetail joinery.

Finally got going again. I really like textured wood. The case is a repurposed white oak plank from an old cabin porch floor and the drawer fronts are repurposed yellow pine barn siding. The wood is as old as or older than I am. The barn owl was needle felted by a friend, Gail Robin. Now on to the next piece.
