Sunday Artisan Market Unique, quality, hand-made items by local artists and crafters. Open Sundays from April until Christmas. All work is sold by the artist who made it.

The Sunday Artisan Market offers original, handmade work by dozens of artists and fine crafts persons in a full range of traditional (and some not-so-traditional!) media. Visitors have the opportunity to meet the artists and learn about the creative processes and materials used. Some artists even work while at the market! For many visitors, the market is a Sunday destination, with a full days’ ent

ertainment within easy walking distance — breakfast, lunch, or dinner at nearby eateries — including the famed Zingerman's deli — gourmet grocery and specialty shopping in the Kerrytown (TM) Market & Shops building, afternoon jazz at the Kerrytown Concert House, and a stroll of the historic neighborhood to walk off all those calories! We've been around for a long time. The Artisan Market was founded in 1991 by a small group of artisans who wanted an affordable, accessible venue in which to sell their work and to learn the business of “doing art” in a community with other artists and crafters. The Market continues to actively recruit artists, food and services vendors, and entertainers of all types suitable for the open-air market setting.

Janice Novachoff (JBN Creations) has been a regular vendor at our market since 1998! She brings a variety of jewelry made with fair trade kazuri beads from Kenya and semi-precious stones, place mats with seasonal themes, hand-painted magnets and hand-dyed silk scarves and t-shirts.

Thien Pham (Prairie Home & Garden) has been a regular vendor at our market since 2005! He brings custom-made wooden home and garden furniture, cedar hope chests, entryway benches, planters, birdhouses, bird feeders and more.

Larraine U'Ren (RaingemsDesigns) has been a regular vendor at our market since 2000! She creates earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and pendants from quality natural stone, pearls, and more.
