Another great OHD weekend at the Society's building! Many thanks to all who stopped by to see us and take in the beautiful art on the front lawn. We were very happy to host the Andover Art Group this year. We hope you found something interesting to examine while you were visiting us.

We have 2 blankets that have not been picked up and because of limited information for us on the order sheets, we have been unable to contact you. If you are one of these folks, please reach out to us on our FB page messenger or send us an email at [email protected] so we can coordinate pick up.

To those of you who paid for blankets and did not pick them up yesterday, we will be at the building this morning after 10:00 for clean up. You can get them today.

The new Andover Blankets will be available for purchase at the Society Building during Olde Home Days. Blankets are $60.00 plus tax ($3.30)

IT'S FINALLY HERE! 🎈🎊🎉After some changes from the original blanket post, the new and final weaving of the blanket is done! Blankets are $60.00/each until Old Home Days. After that time, they will be $65.00/each.

You can order by sending your check made out to: Andover Historical Society, P.O. Box 166, Andover, Maine 04216. You will need to include your check, number of blankets you want to order, contact information including name, email, and phone number. At this time, we do not have the capability to accept electronic payments.

The blankets will be available for pick up during the Society's open hours for Old Home Days (Friday, July 31 thru Sunday, August 2) unless special arrangements are made.

1. Statue of Liberty - Single Specimen, bottles provided by AHS
2. Broad Stripes Bright Stars - Arrangement in red, white or blue container
3. Purple Mountains Majesty - Arrangement using wooden container
4. Amber Waves of Grain - Wildflowers, herbs, grasses
5. National Parks - Ages 8 – under
6. Happy Birthday America - Arrangement and container of your choice
Mountain Greenery and accessories permitted. Please no artificial flowers.
AHS will exercise all care, but cannot be responsible for loss or breakage.
Entries received between 5:30 – 7:30 PM FRIDAY July 31, 2026 Judging to follow.
First Place (Blue), Second Place (Red), Third Place (Yellow), Honorable Mention
(White) Judge’s Award and Best In Show ribbons awarded.
Arrangements available for viewing all day Saturday.
Please pick up arrangements Saturday between 3-3:30 PM (If possible, NO earlier NO
