09/15/2026
Today, September 15th, is the final day of our 2026 season. Its has been a fun and rewarding season!
I’m grateful to so many people who made this season successful - the staff, board, and families. I especially am grateful to those who volunteered their time. Kathryn, the flowers were wonderful this year!
And of course, I am grateful to the 5000+ visitors who came and toured the museum this year. It’s all for your enjoyment that we keep this open and free of charge! We had visitors from every American State. I’m pretty sure residents visited from every Canadian province and territory except perhaps for Nunavut. And visitors came from dozens of other nations from around the world.
It has been 2 years since Norman Lowell took his final journey in life and went home to be with his Lord. I see, every day, the importance of his legacy and the impact that his work has on those who come here. Many now come through who never got to meet him, and it still moves people deeply. This is a very special place.
I look forward to next season, beginning May 1st of 2027! We’ll have some exciting new things to share with you all! Have a wonderful winter season, friends!
