Amana Arts Guild is a nonprofit organization that offers a rich diversity of programs and activities providing a wide range of cultural experiences in all areas of the arts. The Amana Arts Guild encourages the preservation of local cultural heritage and traditional art forms. In addition the Guild offers the public a variety of seasonal events including our annual Festival of the Arts, a summer ch

ildren's day camp, a Communal Meal Celebration, and a Haus Walk. Each year the Guild presents a "Friends of the Arts Award" to individuals who have made important contributions towards growth of artistic life in Amana.

We are excited to welcome Susan Macumber as the new Executive Director of the Amana Arts Guild!

Susan is already a familiar face to many in our Guild community. She has been a steady supporter of the arts, a thoughtful leader, and someone who understands the importance of preserving our creative traditions while also helping us grow for the future.

As Executive Director, Susan will help guide the day-to-day work of the Guild, support our artists and volunteers, strengthen our programs, and continue building connections across the Amana Colonies and beyond.

Please join us in welcoming Susan to this new role. We are grateful for her leadership and excited for what is ahead for the Amana Arts Guild!

What an incredible weekend! 🎨🌸

Our Brushes & Blooms was everything we hoped it would be—beautiful artwork, inspiring gardens, talented artists, wonderful volunteers, and a community that came together to celebrate creativity in the Amana Colonies.

The Art Party & Awards was the perfect way to conclude the weekend. Congratulations to all of our award winners, and thank you to every artist who shared their talent and passion with us. Whether you painted competitively, taught a class, demonstrated your craft, displayed artwork for sale, opened your garden, volunteered behind the scenes, sponsored the event, or simply came to enjoy it all—you helped make this event a success.

A special thank you to our lead judge, Green , for sharing his expertise throughout the weekend, and to our generous sponsors and supporters whose investment made this event possible.

Today is a big day for Brushes & Blooms! 🌸🎨

Spend the day exploring the Amana Colonies through gardens, art, and community.

🌿 Colonies in Bloom Garden Tours

Visit open gardens throughout the Colonies and help us celebrate the homeowners and volunteers who put so much time, care, and effort into sharing these beautiful spaces with the public.

Brushes & Blooms begins today! 🌸🎨

Artists are arriving, canvases are being stamped, and painting begins throughout the Amana Colonies.

Over the next few days, you’ll see artists capturing gardens, historic buildings, streetscapes, and everyday beauty across the Colonies.

🎨 Art sales Friday and Saturday from 12:00–4:00 PM at Amana Market Barn and 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at the Art Party and Awards
