This week marks the 15th anniversary since the museum's grand opening. We would like to thank the thousands of people that have visited the castle over the years!

The museum was founded by Gary Schlosstein. He first started collecting when he bought a Civil War musket when he was ten years old. As his collection grew, Gary started up the nonprofit that is Castlerock Museum and built the museum as a permanent home for the collection.

Although the museum originally focused on ancient and medieval arms and armor, we now have two new galleries covering American history as well.
