Lights! Camera! Mabel’s! The kitchen of the Mabel Hartzell Home was the set for a western movie produced by Chris Wilder on Friday. Cast and crew members included Ben Welch and Ryan Beatrice as card playing enemies and Michael King and Michael Carrino handling lights and sound. The film is titled “Last Draw” and will be entered in an upcoming Cleveland film festival. We are happy to share our Victorian home for projects such as this. Good luck Chris!

Did you have a child in 5th grade in Alliance City Schools this past year? Carnation Festival open house hours at the 3 Families’ homes (Mabel Hartzell, Haines, Glamorgan) would be a great time to get that Passport stamped! All children 12 and under or ones with the passports tour for free! Sorry parents, you will have to pay, unless you’re a member, that is 🤭 we hope to stamp lots of passports next week. Saturday, Aug. 2, 10-1; Sunday-Friday, Aug. 3-8, 1-4pm.
