Although we are closed today, we are still busy... creating, maintenance, etc. Getting ready to see you on Wednesday! Remember we are closed Thursday-Saturday this week, so Wednesday is THE DAY to get in!

As always, if you see a blue vehicle, feel free to stop in whether the sign says open or not! I will be in late afternoon, early evening today.

Not everything turns out the way I want it. So this one was a fail. But I learned a bit doing it. I will try a different approach next time. Hoping next time my windmill doesn't look like Don Quixote did a tilt at it! Lol. Learning and failing go hand in hand. 1 lesson I learned is stop and step away, maybe the answer isn't what you think. Another is stop spending time on the failure and move forward to a new experience taking the lesson with you. The good news is, I got to paint and learn!

What a great day in the gardens at Brave Art. We separated hostas and replanted and sent some home with our ever so appreciated crew who showed up today to help! The hostas had been growing here for 6.5 years and really need separated because they were hiding the hydrangeas and rodendrum. Hopefully I kept the breeds straight and should create a nice pattern next year.

This was overwhelming me this year, so your help today means the world to me!!

And the arborviteas are almost as happy as I am!

Brave Art will be changing our hours of operation. We will open at 10 am on Wednesday-Friday and 11 am Saturday. We will close at 6 pm on Wednesdays, 5 pm on Thursdays & Saturdays, 7 pm on Fridays.
Open:
Wednesday 10 am-6 pm
Thursday 10 am - 5 pm
Friday 10 am- 7 pm
Saturday 11 am- 5 pm

As always if you see a blue vehicle here, we are open to visits, we just post these hours of when we will be here so you can count on us. During these "off" hours, you may catch us in gardening clothes and may need your visit more to encourage us to take a break!

That said, we will be closed for a family event, September 3-5. We will reopen on September 9.

We are taking Brave Art on the road! Paint some beautiful native flowers with us and support the Allegan Conservation District!!

🎨Masterpiece & Mocktails is a fabulous event that will be held on Thursday, November 12th at 6:30pm. This class will be instructed by artist Paulette Carr the owner of Brave Art Studios & Gallery. You will be painting a floral still life of native Michigan flowers while enjoying a dirty soda bar! All supplies will be provided but please bring a cardboard box to take your wet piece of art home with you. Call your friends! You deserve a night out. *Only participants will be permitted into the workshop. Kids 12 and older allowed to participate in the class (full price). NO REFUNDS.
