New location—new inspiration!
People who are “veg-curious” need your encouragement!
After Elisa Dworak shares her story, we’ll end the livestream and invite audience members to share their own testimonials about plant-based eating.
By showing up and sharing part of your personal journey, you’ll help dispel myths and misconceptions about plant-based diets, including concerns about taste, nutrition, and satisfaction.
Even a brief testimonial can plant a seed of hope, inspire someone to make a change, or offer the perspective they need to hear.
You’ll also show potential newcomers that there’s a passionate, supportive plant-based community surrounding them—and that we’re all in this together. Let’s make the vegan community even more welcoming to everyone!

Join us for a Veganuary Celebration at the Wicker Park Library!

The Vegan Museum is kicking off the new year with a special event. We’ll screen and discuss “Veganism Could Save the Planet,” a thought-provoking short video and discuss on the powerful connection between veganism and environmental sustainability.

One of the hardest parts about becoming or staying vegan is navigating the social aspect, whether it's struggling with family members and friends who aren't accepting, finding places to eat together, or simply feeling isolated when loved ones don't share the same dedication to their health, the environment, and animal welfare as we do.

That's why, for the Vegan Museum's first event of 2025, we're proud to hold our first ever Vegan Social!

Whether you're going plant-based as your New Year's resolution, or you're a long-time vegan, join us for a fun afternoon of activities, ice breakers, and vegan food. Meet new friends, watch and discuss a vegan short film, and learn more about Chicago's vibrant vegan community at the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library, on February 1st at 2:00pm!
