The Alfred Shaker Museum, run by The Friends of the Alfred Shaker Museum, strives to celebrate the Shakers, their knowledge, traditions, and creative spirit. The Alfred Shaker Museum is open from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day weekend on Saturday afternoons from 1 pm to 4 pm or by appointment.

Today marks 100 days until the 2026 Shaker Hill Apple festival!

We are gearing up with the hopes of making this year even better than last year.
To do that, we are looking for the support of our community for a few needs:

• Vendors- we have only a few more slots for vendors. Apply through our website: alfredshakermuseum.org. NOTE: we are full in some categories which may result in being added to a waitlist.

• Volunteers- we are looking for individuals, groups or organizations to volunteer for set up and throughout the festival with a number of tasks.

• Sponsors and donations- we are looking for local business who are interested in being sponsors or would like to donate gift certificates/card.
