Founded in 1995, the Friends of the Alfred Shaker Museum (FASM) is a grassroots group of volunteers focused on raising funds and providing labor to restore the interior and exterior of the Museum building. The Museum displays Shaker items and is available as an educational facility and community center. When the library is finished, it will house a collection of print and media resources on the Sh

akers that will be available to scholars and researchers. The Museum holds various functions to encourage the public to share in the growing development of the building.
