⚡️ Thunder in the Sticks ⚡️ is today! Volunteers are busy setting up and putting on the finishing touches on this beautiful morning. Head on over for what looks to be a perfect afternoon and evening of pulling. Make sure to bring the kids for our Sneaker Pull where the kids go up against a steam roller in an epic tug of war!!!

Are you going to see it? Did you get to see Big Boy pass through WNY? Guess what! We have live steam every fall at the WNY Gas & Steam Engine Rally. Come see us September 10 – 13, 2026 at our Grounds where we have Steam Traction Engines, a Steam Crane, and working Steam Engine models on display. Steam Engines belted up to the sawmill, threshing machine and many other tractors and displays of yesteryear.

AND for the kids we have the Sneaker Pull (Steam Engine vs kids on the pulling track) and fresh steamed corn by our Steam Crew.

With heavy hearts, Gas & Steam shares the passing of Ann Harris. Many of you may have seen the Harris Family on one of their Steam Engines around the grounds, or sharing their love of steam with the younger generations through the Sneaker Pull on the Track. Condolences to Brian, Melissa and Family. She will be missed.

Celebrate the life of Ann Harris and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

With deep sadness Gas & Steam has lost a Lifetime Member, Glenn "Smitty" Smith. Our condolences to Cindy and family. Smitty will be missed in our flea market and around the grounds.

Glenn “Smitty” A. Smith, 82, of Batavia, passed away peacefully at Buffalo General Hospital due to heart complications on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026.
