I finished my BoHo Heart quilt the other day. Pattern by Jen Kingwell and Andrea Bair. This was so fun to make I used all scraps for the blocks. The black and white strips were a combo of scraps, a few quarter yard buys plus 1 1/2” strips from my friends! I just did wavy lines for quilting, I wanted the blocks to be the focus.

Three pieces I’ve worked on the last few weeks. Dizzy Daisies is my own pattern. It is another out of the closet piece. Circles were sewn and the daisy petals were fused. So added the leaves and machine blanket stitched them.

The hearts are a Laundry Basket pattern made from leftover pieces one of her kits.

The last one is also out of the closet. One of my Mystery Quilts. It was all cut and ready to sew together.

Finished these over the last week. All of them were things out of the closet. The hearts were started as a paper piecing class years ago. I found 16 blocks from a class from Bargello Quilts with a Twist for the orange wall hanging. I added some sashing and borders. The Simple Curve table runner I found and added the side pieces to square it up instead of leaving it a curved edge. I didn’t want to make a bias binding! LOL. That was given as a wedding gift.

I finished this one last week. Just a strippy quilt using some fabric I have had for years plus some new. This is the one I didn’t have enough fabric for the binding and pieced 2 fabrics together.

Would anyone want this VW bus appliqué pattern? It is for a 12” block. I also have it for an 8” block. Cleaning things out and hate to just throw it away.

Playing with the hearts I made at open sew. Do I make the 3 I need for a square quilt or 8 for a rectangle? I think I am going to have to make the 8!
