The Pear Tree The Pear Tree Gallery, owned by artist Jan Schilling is a seasonal shop on Torch Lake in Alden, MI, open May–October.

Near Alden Harbor, it features Jan's watercolors, prints, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, Petoskey stone knives, and unique designer clothing The town of Alden is filled with unique specialty stores and The Pear Tree is known for it's originality and artistic merchandise. It is a creative gallery and gift shop, filled with original watercolors, and limited edition prints reflecting the Northern Michig

The gallery also has a variety of outstanding artists work, including the finest pottery, jewelry, wooden bowls and cutting boards, stone birdhouses, Petoskey Stone knives and money clips, lanterns, handmade shorebirds, decorator pillows, topiaries, table runners, scarves, creative clothing and a multiple of rug styles.
