AE Art and Design AE Art and Design has been designing and fabricating furniture, architectural woodwork and various objects in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1992.

The work is primarily modern, and utilizes wood, wood and metal veneers, aluminum, steel, resins (3form…) and many other materials. While most design happens in-house, AE Art and Design has long experience collaborating with architects, designers, artists, builders, other workshops and private clients to conceptualize and bring forth fine work. Also, and increasingly over time, AE Art and Design i

s producing design, drawings (including full shop-drawings), models and prototypes by the hour, or on a contract basis. The drawing work is done mainly in AutoCad and by hand, and prototype and other fabrication can include water-jet and plasma-cutting, machining, welding, form-making and other services. AE Art and Design also specializes in veneer work, curved and flat, using vacuum-bag, caul and clamp, and other methods. Both raw and backed veneers are handled expertly, and supplied upon request. This is a service AE Art and Design has provided for architects, builders and other workshops since 2002. AE Art and Design can work from the very conception of a project, or integrate with it at any point. Our long experience, great care, and a commitment to the work are reflected in the images here, and the good relations with hundreds of clients, past and present.
