From September 16-19, the TICRAT International Workshop 2024, hosted by Bernalillo County Open Space, brought together passionate participants and trainers from across the U.S. and Mexico at the historic Gutierrez-Hubbell House and San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During the workshop, participants explored a variety of topics—from soil testing to making adobe bricks, mud plastering, lime pigments, and more!

The Taller Internacional de Conservación y Restauración de Arquitectura de Tierra is a binational initiative dedicated to safeguarding cultural heritage across the U.S.-Mexico border. A huge thank you to the National Park Service, Cornerstones Community Partnerships, UNM, Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia, Gutierrez-Hubbell House Alliance, and Bernalillo County Parks, Recreation and Open Space for making the workshop possible.
