Albert Lea Art Center The mission of the Albert Lea Art Center is to create, educate, promote and showcase the arts.

The Albert Lea Art Center has an art gallery that features free admission and is open to the public. We also participate in community events, have a gift shop, host a variety of art classes, provide a space for groups to meet and host a monthly lecture series which features a variety of speakers. Thanks to all who attended the Artist Reception of Saw Kennedy on 06.19.2026.

Attendees enjoyed the art, the somasa (a baked pastry with a savory filling) and a violin solo by Debra Linnes that Saw thoroughly enjoyed.

Some of his original artwork and that of other Burmese artists are on display in the gallery until July 10, 2026.
