The Albany County Historical Association, headquartered at the historic Ten Broeck Mansion built in 1798, preserves, promotes, presents, and interprets the stories of Albany County's rich and diverse history and culture through exhibits, lectures, and other educational outreach programs. Educational programs and events are held year-round for children, families, and adults and include lectures, exhibits, concerts and theatrical performances. Our extensive gardens including a knot garden, arbor, and shade garden are open free from April - October from dawn until dusk. Gallery and exhibits space is at our King’s Place site, adjacent to the gardens. We offer tours from early May to mid-October, plus special events year-round. Our site is available for rental on select dates - the grounds make for a beautiful wedding setting!
