What a day!
I had it all planned out, drop off property taxes, get a copy made of the pattern, get my new tires installed & then do some shopping.
Well, as usual nothing goes as planned.
The boy's get all excited thinking their going with, I get all forgetful & walk out the door, leaving 1/2 of what I need, sitting on the counter.
Of course I realize, that 40 miles into my trip.
I also start thinking
"did I sign my check"
Now I'm stressed, but carry on.
Then the phone rings & I go on auto pilot, totally forgot the plan & just drive to the tire place, 45 minutes early for my appointment.
Kind of a bonus, I got in early, take a walk & replan my day.
Decided I'm going all the way back home, so I can get what I need done, done.
So on my way back I stopped at the court house to ask them to see if I signed my check. (Small town, so not a problem) of course the gal found it, last one in the pile & we all celebrated!
YES I signed it!
Whew.
With that out of the way I head back south to finish what I started.
Everything went as planned, the printer made the copy, without having to go back, I had enough rebates at my favorite store, to pay for my purchase.
Start to head back north & seen someone having a day like mine, it appears they tripped their gate, & spread sand down the left lane of the highway for about a quarter mile.
Ouch, not an easy clean up, during lunch hour traffic without shutting the lane down.
I took a back road & headed North.
All in all it was a great day. Got enough miles on my new tires, they will be torked in the morning.
Excited to go glass shopping, but first I need to tweek this pattern, there's just something about it, I dont like.
Oh & we got a little rain! Don't get much better than that.
