Can you believe the amazing work that these guys from Grae-Con are doing in our town? It’s incredible to see. They’re widening the streets and putting the edge line of the bricks back where it was when they were laid more than 125 years ago. You can’t tell the original from the new. And proper crosswalks are beginning to be framed in at the square. Fantastic work in our town, Adena!

Don’t trust anyone that argues aesthetics don’t matter or that beauty is entirely subjective. They just want your town to accept less than you deserve.

We’re feeling a little silly today, but nowhere near as silly as “Silly W***y.” His Appalachian-styled comedy was a familiar sight on the stage at the Adena Lions Club Minstrel shows. So was his custom guitar, made, of course, from a toilet seat - complete with a toilet paper roll, just in case. It wasn’t difficult to convince him to yodel. This autographed photo was made out to Shirley Bednarski and was recently donated to the museum by her family.
