These are pictures from today’s opening of the summer season at the museum. The first picture is of the 4 Colleen’s ( or Coleen 😊). It’s rare to have one Colleen and today we had 4. The second picture feature our fabulous cooks. Thanks Mike, Pete & Fred. Picture 3 is Kari & husband Ron (not in picture) from Waukon Dairy who provided ice cream treats today. Yummy! The last picture ,if you look closely is of all the cars in our newly Visser graded parking lot and on the fair grounds. What a great crowd today. Also big thanks to Fredrickson Ganje Funeral home and the Norsk for their donations of food, and the hard working volunteers that always show up when we need them.

One volunteer that just keeps on giving is David Thomerdahl. He has made numerous trips for shelving, picked up donations too big to carry and leveled our parking lot after construction. David is just one of many who share their talents at the museum! Thanks David. To see what he has helped us accomplish- join us for our open house Wednesday from 11 am to 5 pm.
