Norman County Historical and Genealogy Society The Norman County Historical Society has been preserving history since 1947. It also contains a museum whose exhibits change every other year.

Its goal is to preserve, educate and entertain with a collection that has now reached over 20,000 artifacts/ Remember,
HISTORY MATTERS The Prairie Village in Ada is made up of 12 buildings that are historic in nature, and help to tell the story of Norman County in a very tactile way.

FESTIVAL OF TREES!
Work started today with 11 fabulous volunteers from ABW school hauling in trees, decorations, and so much more. These students and science instructor Angie Larson set up 27 trees in anticipation of volunteers coming to decorate them for December 5th and 6th FESTIVAL OF TREES! It truly takes a village to make History Matter.

OUR VOLUNTEERS HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!
A big thank you to Caroline Peppel & Colleen Germolus for painting and updating the museum kitchen. Another big thank you to David & Marlys Tommerdahl for digging out our over grown shrubs and to Chuck Norby for painting our soffits. Our volunteers rock!
