Preregister now for our Free Evening for Families of Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or KODA Children on Saturday, April 13, 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Your family can play, explore, experiment, and imagine together while we are closed to the general public. ASL Interpreters will be on-site to support your visit. Dinner, including a gluten-free option, is provided.

From 5:30 - 7:30 we'll explore the Science of Water with science educators from Atomic Hands! Drip, splish, and make waves while exploring the dynamic properties of water.

Plus, drop-in from 5:00 to 7:30 for Everyday Engineering: Balls & Ramps. Design, build and test out some simple tracks and mini-rollercoasters. Make straightaways, loop-da-loops and hills out of tubing and cardboard to send marbles and golf balls on a thrilling ride.

Accessibility & Inclusion: Especially for Me

Space is still available to register for the Especially for Me Free Morning for Families with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and KODA Infants and Toddlers on Monday, March 25, 9:30am - 12:30pm.

Come for a special morning at the Museum with Early Intervention groups and other families with similar needs while we are closed to the general public. Playing, exploring, experimenting, and imagining in the Museum promotes family conversations and can support early language development for Deaf and Hard of Hearing infants and toddlers. ASL interpreters will be on site to support your visit, and snacks are provided.

The museum is open for extended hours, with free admission, on the first Friday night of the month during the school year, and every Friday night during the summer.
