Twin girls, Brielle and Kyrie, were
born 12 weeks ahead of their due
date. Needing intensive care, they
were placed in separate incubators.
Kyrie began to gain weight and her
health stabilized. But Brielle, born
only 2 lbs, had trouble breathing,
heart problems and other
complications. She was not expected
to live.
Their nurse did everything she
could to make Brielle’s health
better, but nothing she did was
helping her. With nothing else to do,
their nurse went against hospital
policy and decided to place both
babies in the same incubator.
She left the twin girls to sleep and
when when she returned she found
a sight she could not believe. She
called all the nurses and doctors
and this is what they saw.
As Brielle got closer to her sister,
Kyrie put her small little arm around
her, as if to hug and support her
sister. From that moment on,
Brielle’s breathing and heart rate
stabilized and her health became
normal.
Share the pic to show the world how
a little bit of tender love and
affection can save someone's Life.

The Elephants Knew

Some will say there is no God,
try and tell that to the elephants.....

THE ELEPHANTS' JOURNEY TO PAY RESPECT,
BUT HOW DID THEY KNOW?

Lawrence Anthony, a legend in South Africa and author of 3 books including the bestseller, The Elephant Whisperer.
He bravely rescued wildlife and rehabilitated elephants all over the globe from human atrocities, including the courageousrescue of Baghdad Zoo animals during US invasion in 2003.

On March 7, 2012 Lawrence Anthony died. He is remembered and missed by his wife, 2 sons, 2 grandsons, and numerous elephants. Two days after his passing, the wild elephants showed up at his home led by two large matriarchs. Separate wild herds arrived in droves to say goodbye to their beloved 'man-friend'. A total of 31 elephants had patiently walked over 12 milesto get to his South African House.

Witnessing this spectacle, humans were obviously in awe not only because of the supreme intelligence and precise timing that these elephants sensed about Lawrence's passing, but also because of the profound memory and emotion the beloved animals evoked in such an organized way: Walking slowly, for days, making their way in a solemn one-by-one queue from their habitat to his house. Lawrence 's wife, Francoise, was especially touched, knowing that the elephants had not been to his house prior to that day for well over 3 years! But yet they knew where they were going. The elephants obviously wanted to pay their deep respects, honoring their friend who'd saved their lives - so much respect that they stayed for 2 days 2 nights without eating anything. Then one morning, they left, making their long journey back home.

SOMETHING IN THE UNIVERSE IS GREATER
AND DEEPER THAN HUMAN INTELLIGENCE.

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing him, the dad yelled:
“Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?”

The doctor smiled & said:
“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily

The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”

“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.

The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,
“Thank goodness!, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If you have any questions, ask the nurse!!”

“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was at the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

Moral: Never judge anyone….. because you never know how their life is & what they’re going through”

Watch 32 discordant metronomes achieve synchrony in a matter of minutes

...OK forget the schmaltzy Logan Creek furniture photos and Civil War trivia for about four minutes...YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS !!!...really cool...I do a similar thing on our front porch swings...yes, I have toooooo much time on my hands...please share if you are awed by this totally predictable action..."Can't we all just get along ?"

If you place 32 metronomes on a static object and set them rocking out of phase with one another, they will remain that way indefinitely. Place them on a moveable surface, however, and something very interesting (and very mesmerizing) happens.

...as follow up to "The Excellent Adventures of Joe/Tom and Mark"...here is evidence of our recent shoot over on 421 Range... Mark burned over seven million rounds in less than three hours...the barrel on my brand new Tactical Mini-30 7.62x39 was totally spaghetti...roasted, toasted and melted into scrap...my trusty-beside-the-bed-kept Mossy Defense 12 broke into pieces after Mark sent 456,093 rounds of my 00 Buck into the targets...another 1,934,567 rounds melted my brand new Winchester Model 94AE 30/30 down to the waterline and he kept firing....Tom (as the only sane one on the range) suggested we ramp down a bit and go the mattress with our trusty .22's.....Ja Ja ja jaaaaaaa jaaaaaaa...Tom called Wal-Mart and they dispatched a special truck from Arkansas to replenish our diminished supply of plinking ammo as Cootch went postal on the golf ball targets moving them smartly down the range...Thank God for safety...not one animal was used in this exercise and no small plants, bugs or snail darters were ever in danger.....wheeeeew...and while Mark wrestled the giant Anaconda, Tom and I snapped photos with our Nikon F-2 and watched from the rooftop safety of the Land Rover...I am broken and exhausted from the smoke and lead fragments...
