On October 3, the Dickinson County Historical Society will celebrate the 125th anniversary of its 1901 C.W. Parker Carousel, a beloved Abilene treasure that has been bringing smiles to generations of riders.

Built by legendary carousel maker C.W. Parker, this hand-carved carousel is more than a favorite attraction. It's a piece of American history that still goes round and round right here in Abilene.
