《抗爭的背後》展覽
香港公民社會分崩離析,昔日公民社會主力宣傳自己理念和綱領的七一大遊行已缺席港人生活5年。
多年來,倡議組織、工會及政黨等,一直是公民社會的骨幹。
沒有他們默默耕耘的工作,不少社會議題便被「蛇齋餅糭」等掩蓋。
而大多公民社會組織的其中一個特色,就是「賣衫」:在T-shirt上展示自己的理念、口號,以遊說支持者捐款,同時爭取其他市民的支持。
現時公民社會隨港區國安法後四散,故是次展覽便展出數十件昔日各大團體的T-shirt,昔日抗爭的照片,與過往示威遊行有關的畫作、部份曾為抗爭主要戰場的近況短片等,
嘗試讓大家重新感受香港公民社會的氣氛,重溫昔日遊行時議題,重新感受當時的感覺。

Hong Kong’s civil society has fragmented, with the 1st July march, once a crucial platform for advocating ideas and agendas, absent from the lives of Hongkongers for the past five years.
Before 2019, advocacy organisations, unions, and political parties were the backbone of civil society. These groups worked diligently to ensure that significant social issues were not overshadowed by superficial actions. A unique feature of Hong Kong‘s social movements was the practice of ”selling shirts,“ where T-shirts bearing slogans and messages were sold to raise funds and garner public support. Today, with the implementation of the National Security Law, civil society has dispersed. This exhibition presents dozens of T-shirts from various past organisations, aiming to rekindle awareness of the issues highlighted in the 1st July marches, painting related to past protests and to evoke the spirit of that era.
