日升月鴻成立三十五年以來,可說掌握了台灣這些年來社會的脈動,為立足於台灣急遽變化的社會,滿足多元化的藝術環境與市場而努力。日升月鴻與其他畫廊不同的是,它堅持所引介之作品與展覽,皆以美術史為立基,以作品本身藝術表現為原則,從畫廊成立初期經紀代理張毅、楊惠珊的「琉璃工坊」開始,便以推廣台灣的前輩藝術家作品為主,亞洲區域當代藝術家作品為輔,盡力從美術史綜觀的角度來推薦藝術品,這些台灣前輩藝術家如陳澄波、廖繼春、李石樵、洪瑞麟....等,這些前輩畫家的作品,散發出強烈的創作理念與熱情,象徵了台灣生生不息的生命力。
21世紀的台灣人民要關心的事務有本地的、兩岸的、華人的以及國際的。在經濟上台灣享有一定的優勢,在政治上卻時時處於國際的邊緣。文化上台灣人民有以繼承中華道統為己任,也有以發揚本土文化為使命,更時時與國際接軌,參與全球的脈動;這些眾多錯縱的慾望,促使台灣各方面的活動熱烈蓬勃。生活在如此

而誰來引領廿十一世紀網路時代的美學風潮呢?我們看到了愈來愈多以自創的虛擬角色為主體,表現出主體特徵的作品----包括中國的岳敏君、劉野、曾梵志、韓國的權奇秀、台灣的楊茂林、黄銘哲、及日本的村上隆、奈良美智、松浦浩之、天野喜孝…..等人。其在繪畫與雕塑上所表現的圖像語言、偶像崇拜與聲光合成效果等美學特質都有相當的成績,這將是一項深具時代氛圍的成就,更向收藏家預告下一波新美學典範的來臨。網路時代的人生境域正在改變,未來在數位環境中没有地域之分,全球皆然,我們拭目以待。
Ever Harvest Gallery has a history of over 35 years. In order to keep ourselves up to date in a rapidly changing society, we offer a dynamic look at the art scene for the market. What makes Ever Harvest Gallery outstanding is that we introduce works and make exhibitions that are based on art history. From the very first beginning of our gallery, we represented the artists Chang Yi and Yang Whei-Sam showing their beautifully handmade colored glaze. We mainly promote and present works of art made by 20th century artists. Apart from that, we also showcase contemporary Asian art. Ever Harvest is pleased to present Chen Cheng-Po, Liao Chi-Chun, Lee Shih-Chiao and Hong Rui-Ling…etc. Taiwanese people living in the 21st century care for local issues of Taiwan, are interested in diplomatic relations with China and share a global vision within an international community. As Taiwanese we have an economical advantage. However, we often feel pressured by the political pushing of China. Meanwhile, Taiwan preserves Chinese cultural heritage and makes profound and wide influences. We are well connected within the international art scene and participate in related events. These multiple expectations make Taiwan energetic and vivid in various perspectives. Under such challengeable circumstances, people have a fast-paced life following trends attentively. There are various cultural experiments and explorations happening in Taiwan, which are similar to other cities in Asia. Beyond this cultural phenomenon, Taiwan reveals a very imaginative creativity. We aim to show this invisible power which has its origins in Taiwan. To achieve this we try to showcase artworks of the highest quality in the modern art field and the contemporary art world. At the same time, we hope to communicate with the international art world and to be open for experiments with the local art scene. Art reflects our time and spirit setting examples of urban aesthetics. Thus, it is important to showcase first class contemporary works of art of the 21st century and be pioneer for art and design. On the map of contemporary Asian art, who will take the lead in the near future? We can see more and more characteristic artworks from many nations. They include artists from China, such as Zhang Xiao-gang, Yue Min-jun, Liu Ye and Zeng Fan-Zhi; from Korea, such as Kwon Ki-soo; from Taiwan, such as Yang Mao-Lin and Huang Ming-che; from Japan, such as Takashi Murakami, Yosh*tomo Nara, Hiroyuki Matsuura and Yosh*taka Amano.
