2001年台北國際藝術村，以閒置空間再利用的概念，活化既有資產，將場域規劃為藝術家創作與居住的空間。透過駐村計畫，促進國內外藝術家與在地社群的互動交流，作為連接不同文化的橋樑，實踐以城市為本的多元文化。
