Founded in Taipei in 2010, Mind Set Art Center (MSAC) is a contemporary art platform exhibiting and promoting works by Taiwanese, Asian and international artists. It is dedicated to creative programs and collaborative projects with curators from different regions for the aim of cultural exchange.

安卓藝術2010年成立於台北，是一個推廣台灣、亞洲和國際藝術家的當代藝術平台，我們致力於策劃創新且具有啟發性的展覽項目，並藉由不同地區策展人和美術館的合作計畫，進一步落實本地和國際藝術文化交流。

本週日母親節將至，我們以柏格丹・弗拉杜塔 Bogdan Vladuta 《母親們》致敬所有溫柔而堅韌的母親。畫面中繁盛綻放的花叢間，若隱若現的人物身影裡，依稀可見母親懷抱孩子漫步其中；其中一個形象，便是藝術家根據老照片描繪母親抱著年幼的自己。藝術家以熱烈與感性的筆觸、近乎朦朧的視覺語言，傾訴記憶深處那份始終靜靜守護著我們的母愛。

As Mother’s Day approaches, we honor the quiet strength and enduring tenderness of mothers through Bogdan Vlăduță’s 𝘔𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴. Within the lush, blooming thickets of his canvas, figures emerge like memories—mothers cradling their children in a timeless stroll. One such figure is a poignant self-reference, drawn from an old photograph of the artist in his mother’s arms. Through expressive brushstrokes and a hazy, dreamlike atmosphere, Vlăduță captures the essence of a mother’s love: a presence that lingers softly, protecting us through the passage of time.

羅懿君將參與 臺中市立美術館 2026 年研究型展覽「大肚之盟：山海間的物際外交」。本展由沈裕昌策劃，以臺中大肚臺地為核心，提出「物際外交」的觀點，從風土與城市出發，重新理解土地、河川、作物、技術、建築與人群之間的相互協商，如何形塑中部的文化與美術脈絡。

羅懿君的作品《鹿革》以風乾的香蕉皮與生漆為媒介，組構出梅花鹿的獸皮意象。透過對經濟作物的材質轉換，藝術家探討了產物在跨國遷徙與全球化運作中的角色。在「大肚之盟」的架構下，這件作品不僅顯露物資流動背後的勞動性，更試圖對「具殖民經驗的現代性神話」提出唯物史觀下的深刻反思。

Lo Yi-Chun will participate in the 2026 research-based exhibition "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘢𝘥𝘶: 𝘈 𝘋𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘔𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘴" at the Taichung Art Museum. Curated by Shen Yu-Chang, the exhibition centers on the Dadu Plateau and proposes the concept of "a diplomacy of things," examining how the mutual negotiations between land, rivers, crops, technology, architecture, and human communities shape the cultural and artistic context of central Taiwan.

Lo’s featured work, 𝘋𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘶𝘨, utilizes dried banana peels and lacquer to reconstruct the form of a sika deer hide. Through the material transformation of economic crops, Lo investigates the role of commodities in transnational migration and globalized operations. Within the framework of the exhibition, this work not only reveals the labor inherent in the flow of materials but also seeks to offer a profound reflection on the "myth of modernity within colonial experiences" from a perspective of historical materialism.

身體掃描：繪製內在的地景
在醫學診斷中，身體掃描是一種對清晰度的追求。這是一種辨識特定元素以進行維護與修復的方式，旨在保持體內地景的健康。當掃描儀器遇到腫塊或真空狀態，未知的領域便在光影下顯現。
這一系列紙本作品將臨床的凝視轉化為創作的視野。藝術家利用水彩與生俱來的透明感，讓觀者得以穿透身體，進而偵測並繪製出用於推敲修復的關鍵區域。作為展覽基礎的構架，這些水彩作品設定了界線，並標示出通往可能性的路徑、斷裂點與切入點。

Buen Calubayan

: Mapping the Internal Terrain
In medical diagnostics, a body scan is a search for clarity. It is a way to identify elements for maintenance and repair to keep our internal terrain healthy. When scanners encounter a mass or a void, the unknown is suddenly brought to light.
This series of works on paper translates that clinical gaze into a creative one. Utilizing the natural translucency of watercolor, these pieces see through the body by detecting and mapping areas of interest for speculative repair.
Serving as the foundational scaffolding of the exhibition, these watercolors set the boundaries and identify points of access, rupture, and possibility.

建築不只是結構，也是一種關於時間與想像的載體。在吳增榮的作品中，城市風景被轉化為更貼近感知的畫面。

《台北市政府》（2015）以寫意筆觸重塑熟悉的公共建築，溫潤的檜木色調取代原有的冷冽外觀，廣場與樹影被放大，讓建築退居背景，轉而成為市民日常生活的開放場域。

而《鐵皮屋與紅磚圍牆》（1996–2000）則以飽滿奔放的色彩展開，畫面如同節慶般閃動。民宅隱於綠意之中，與自然交織，呈現出台灣特有的生活風景與生命力。

Architecture is never merely structure. It is a vessel of time, memory, and imagination.
In Wu Tseng-Jung’s paintings, the urban landscape is rearticulated through a deeply sensorial lens.

In Taipei City Hall (2015) , expressive brushwork reconfigures a familiar civic landmark. The façade, rendered in warm cypress tones, replaces its original austerity, while the plaza and surrounding trees come to the fore. Architecture recedes, giving way to an open, lived space shaped by the rhythms of everyday life.

In Iron Sheet House and Red Brick Fence (1996–2000), saturated and exuberant colors unfold across the canvas like a festive burst. Dwellings emerge and dissolve within lush greenery, merging with nature to evoke a distinctly Taiwanese vernacular and its vitality.

傅饒 Rao FU 在紅磚美術館最新舉辦的展覽《極光》由紅磚美術館館長閆士傑策展，將繪畫呈現為想象生發的空間。傅饒的作品並非在美術館的場域中靜靜等待著被解讀，而是邀請每一位參觀者沈浸其中。在他的繪畫世界里，想象是本源之源，共生性則是構圖的核心理念。古今人物形象與混雜的、近乎外星的生命共存於蒼涼的景致中，濃烈的色彩張力撲面而來。

通過不斷變換的視角，畫中形象獲得了動態感與敘事性，色彩作為一種複雜、非二元的力量，構建著畫面的整體秩序。時而，濕潤通透的色調將各異元素凝聚為充滿動感的場域，歷史、想象與超驗意象在此不斷交融、新生。眼前並無固定不變的世界，唯有色彩與心理力量的場域——既私密又濃烈，既孤寂又和諧——在平面之上鋪展，將靜止化為張力，將概念化作情感。

▎ ｜𝙍𝙖𝙤 𝙁𝙪: 𝘼𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙧𝙖
At Red Brick Art Museum

Rao Fu’s latest exhibition 𝘼𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙧𝙖, currently on view at the Red Brick Art Museum and curated by its director Yan Shijie, frames painting as a generative field of imagination.

His works do not remain suspended within the institutional space, awaiting interpretation. Instead, they invite each viewer into a state of immersion. Within Rao Fu’s painterly universe, imagination is the source of all origins, while co-existence serves as the central compositional principle. Figures from different temporalities, both ancient and contemporary, intermingle with hybrid, almost extraterrestrial forms of life, inhabiting desolate landscapes where an intense chromatic force presses forward toward the viewer.
