安娜．德．阿爾維亞專注於描繪極具代表性的超寫實色鉛筆錯視畫。以其精湛的技法與概念性的探索，在極大與極小的尺度中，創造出微觀與巨觀的詩意互動，並透過藝術家安排的視覺敘事，邀請觀者跨出感官的舒適圈，轉化物理與精神上的感知。

Double Square Gallery is pleased to announce the upcoming solo exhibition from August 15, 2026, to September 26, 2026 by Spanish artist Ana de Alvear "Objects of Desire: Where Micro and Macro Open in All Directions"

Ana de Alvear focuses on creating highly representative photorealistic color pencil trompe-l'œil artworks. Through her exquisite technique and conceptual exploration, she creates a poetic interplay between micro and macro perspectives across extreme scales. Guided by her thoughtfully arranged visual narratives, she invites viewers to step outside their sensory comfort zones and transform both their physical and spiritual perceptions.

Double Square Gallery is pleased to announce the upcoming solo exhibition, 《 Shelter Island 》 by Chang San-Hsueh, from August 15, 2026, to September 26, 2026.

Chang San-Hsueh has long been attentive to the intersection of life perception and nature. His creative practice mainly stems from his exploration of fern species across the island of Taiwan, vividly portraying their diverse and intriguing growth postures. Through precise yet expressive brushwork, he continuously incorporates a broader variety of species into his art.

双方藝廊現正展出日本藝術家-橫溝美由紀Yokomizo Miyuki 個展「地景—行履無跡」。

擁有雕塑背景的她，將畫布視為立體空間。本次展出十餘件繪畫與裝置作品，最令人著迷的，是她獨特的「彈線」創作──將沾滿顏料的細繩拉伸於畫布，用指尖撥動彈射，讓縱橫交錯的線條如織物般積累出時間的密度。除了平面，藝術家更以碳纖維與銀箔打造空間裝置，讓看不見的行履軌跡在展場中立體延伸。

「地景並非眼前的風景，而是思考的過程。」誠摯邀請您親臨現場，在難以捉摸的光影與線條中，尋找那些肉眼「未見」的記憶碎片。

Double Square Gallery is pleased to present "Landscape—Tracing the Invisible Route," a solo exhibition by Japanese artist Miyuki Yokomizo.

With a solid background in sculpture, Yokomizo approaches the canvas as a three-dimensional space. Featuring over ten paintings and spatial installations, the exhibition highlights her mesmerising, signature "string-plucking" technique. By stretching paint-soaked strings across the canvas and plucking them with her fingertips, she allows the intersecting lines to build up a textile-like texture that accumulates the density of time. Beyond the two-dimensional realm, the artist also employs carbon fiber tubes and silver foil to construct spatial installations, extending tangible lines into the space to trace the unseen paths of movement.

“Landscape is not merely the scenery before our eyes, but a process of contemplation.” We cordially invite you to experience the exhibition in person, and search for those invisible fragments of memory within the elusive play of light, shadow, and lines.

藝術家橫溝美由紀的多幅平面以及裝置作品。藉由穿插於空間中的金色管子將「軌跡」具象化，產生光影變化，使得空間中的管線時而清晰，時而模糊未可見，傳遞出過往的生命記憶雖不可見，卻曾真實存在的特性，也是藝術家生命經驗的轉化。

王公澤五個系列的平面作品，共同探討了「感知」這個主題，將對生命原初的感知、對大自然、時間、空間的感知、對記憶與自我定位的感知，以及在失序的世界對內心平靜的感受，藉由一幅幅抽象作品傳遞出來，也邀請觀者，在欣賞的同時感受其「安靜」的力量。

By interspersing golden pipes throughout the space, she materializes the concept of "trajectories," creating a shifting play of light and shadow. The lines within the space alternate between clarity and blurriness, conveying how past life memories, though unseen, truly existed. This is a profound transformation of the artist’s own life experiences.

Wang Gon-Jer features works across five series, collectively exploring the theme of "perception." Through abstract compositions, he translates primal perceptions of life, nature, time, space, memory, self-orientation, and inner peace amidst a chaotic world. The works invite viewers to experience a serene strength while engaging with the art.

In an era of information overload and relentless speed, Wang harnesses the power of "stillness," layering charcoal and oil paint marks to create a serene world that is poetic, reserved, and abstract. Featuring six series of works, the artist merges the misty poetries of Claude Monet and J.M.W. Turner with the rhythmic brushwork of Eastern ink painting, translating inner awareness into elegant gestures. He invites viewers to slow their breath and reclaim a soft, quiet rhythm within. How do we maintain a slow, grounded interiority in such a fast-paced age?
