一幕幕的回憶場景不停變換，歲月也不斷地在流逝，但周圍生活過的痕跡與景色卻依舊陪伴著你我。此時請閉上雙眼、凝心感受，你會發現如同置身畫裡般，暑氣隨之散去，只剩下夏日午後的涼爽與寧靜。

After a long time away, finally returned home, spending slow days with family, a gentle breeze brushing past, a slice of sweet, chilled watermelon in hand, and laughter filling the warm summer air.
In these small, simple moments, memories of childhood summers quietly resurface, reminding us how little it takes to feel content.

Scenes may change and years may pass, but the traces of life, the familiar sights around us, remain. Close your eyes for a moment and you might feel the heat fade away, leaving only the calm and cool of a summer afternoon.

中間的畫作《たくさんの願い事》，描繪了貓咪們在這七夕的夜裡，抬頭仰望著漫天星斗的銀河，腦海中有著說不出的千言萬語。
在這滿滿思緒湧上心頭之際，遲遲無法決定寫下哪一個願望的白貓，懷著豁出去的心情，將眾多的心願一一刻寫在紙條上，只為了與其伴侶長相廝守，守護這小小又平凡的快樂。

右側的作品《蛍》，帶出了貓咪們被螢火蟲漫天飛舞的光點吸引之時，溪流間閃爍的光芒讓整個場景帶著奇幻與浪漫的氛圍，就好像發現了神秘的世外桃源，彷彿與外界隔開，只有美麗的事物圍繞著彼此。

Left – Dreamy Feeling
After a short yet joyful summer journey, it’s time to head back to the warmth of home.
On the train, music softens the weariness of travel. One cat sneaks a glance at the other, dozing with a quiet smile of contentment. That fleeting moment is tucked away, cherished in the softest corner of memory.

Center – Many Wishes
On Tanabata night, the cats gaze up at the Milky Way, overwhelmed with countless unspoken thoughts.
The white cat, unable to choose just one wish, writes down every hope that comes to mind, each strip of paper filled with the simple desire to stay together, to guard a small but irreplaceable happiness.

Right – Fireflies
Amidst the glow of fireflies dancing above the stream, the cats are spellbound.
The scene shimmers with romance and wonder, like stumbling upon a hidden paradise, sealed off from the world, where only beauty surrounds them.

Ding-ling~ It feels like a wind chime is ringing, bringing a breeze to the summer heat.

Step into Ooki Miyata’s paintings and join two cats as they wait at the bus stop at dusk, share chilled watermelon, chase bugs and fireflies, ride bikes home, and even surf the waves.
Each painting feels like a page from a summer diary, turning ordinary days into playful, colorful memories.

每個人或多或少都會經歷大小不同的低潮，如同墜入漆黑的谷底一般。但《守》這幅畫中，Gentle Mosquito想強調的是光明與希望，就算遇到了人生迷惘黑暗的時刻，只要代表希望的火苗依舊存在，雨過終究會天晴，當太陽探出頭灑下陽光的那一刻，彩虹也將綻放光芒，一掃一切陰霾。

We all go through low points, sometimes it feels like falling into a dark valley. But in this painting, Gentle Mosquito reminds us of light and hope.
As long as that small flame of hope remains, the rain will pass.
And when the sun breaks through, the rainbow follows, sweeping the shadows away.

我們常被教導對待許多事都要想盡辦法奮起突破，甚至逆流而上，但這幅畫中選擇談論另一種力量：「隨流」。

客家蚊愜意的坐在山河間，上方是一道若有似無的彩光，像時間，也像心境的開口。牠放下外在的一切，讓自己在這順流中，能看見更寬廣的脈絡。

雖然隨波逐流表面上看起來可能容易受到外界的影響，但其實《世》想告訴你，不急於立刻下判斷也是一種智慧。當你停下來，聽過各種聲音，再慢慢地重新感受流動的方向，你會發現它只想陪你練習如何不那麼用力，卻仍然可以走得很遠。

We’re often told to fight, to push, to go against the current.
But this painting speaks of something softer: the strength of letting go.

The Hakka mosquito sits at ease among the mountains and rivers, quietly sensing and flowing with the current.

Sometimes, not forcing a decision right away is a kind of wisdom.
When you pause, listen, and feel your way through, you’ll find going gently might still take you far.

Gentle Mosquito 藝術團隊創造出各種模樣的客家蚊，從「屁屁蚊」、「拍扁蚊」到「史前蚊祖先」，每一隻角色都擁有獨立形象，背後更承載著生活中的隱喻與幽默。他們不以自身個體為情境進行創作，反而透過大家集思廣益，將所有創作能量投入在角色身上，賦予它真實世界的存在感，讓角色彷彿真的從生活中飛出來，成為你我日常裡那些荒謬又可愛的瞬間。這種結構性的合作方式，讓 Gentle Mosquito 迅速在亞洲的潮流藝術、IP收藏與文化市集領域中嶄露頭角。

自2024年起，Gentle Mosquito 接連參與 QMA 音樂潮流藝術節、藝術廈門、泉州、深圳與泰國亞洲收藏品節（ACF）等活動，6公尺高的充氣模型裝置、互動射蚊攤位、冰封蚊祖先雕塑與讓人會心一笑的趣味小物，成功累積了各地觀眾的喜愛與認同。他們不只創作角色，更創造了一種兼具互動性與幽默感的「參與式藝術」，使觀眾能以遊戲方式走入創作，重新思考藝術與日常的交集。

《空》是一幅沒有起點、也沒有終點的畫作。
只有一隻客家蚊，獨自漂浮在無邊的藍靛中。這樣一個介於有形與無形之間的藍，像是剛剛沉下來的心，鬆開了執著的那雙手並與背後的夜幕融合交織其中。

此刻，觀者如同客家蚊般，成了畫中的浮者。這是一個屬於「空」的瞬間，看似什麼都沒有，但實際上是什麼都不強求卻也足夠。

當情緒停止滾動時，語言也沉默了，就這樣在這靜止的時空裡，我們或許才終於能遇見真正內心的自己。
那個，藏在心底、一直不敢直視的自己。

《空》的主旨在於陪伴。無論你從哪裡來，是否已經決定你的下一站在哪，或是想在此處做片刻的停留，它都只是靜靜地與你一起，在這片無名的藍靛裡，漂一會兒。

“Void” is a painting with no beginning and no end.
Just a single Hakka mosquito, quietly drifting in an endless place of indigo.
This blue, which between the visible and the invisible, feels like a heart that has just settled, like hands that have just let go, dissolving into the quiet night behind it.

In that moment, the viewer becomes a drifter within the painting.
This is a moment of “void”, where nothing appears to exist, yet everything feels enough.

When emotions stop tumbling, when language falls silent, we finally meet the part of ourselves we rarely face.
That version of us, quietly hidden in a corner of the heart, always there, but hard to look at.

The essence of “Void” is simple, it stays with you.
Whether you‘re arriving, departing, or just pausing for a while, it just floats there with you.

Gentle Mosquito由幾位跨領域藝術創作者所組成，其中包含插畫、工藝、敘事、視覺設計與空間藝術等領域。
這個名字最初源自一個真實發生在怡保（馬拉西亞）的趣事：一位主人在家中被蚊子叮咬並詢問客人是否有同樣狀況，但沒想到卻得到客人這樣回覆，「你家的蚊子是不是客家蚊？牠怎麼只咬在地人不咬客人？」這句略帶方言色彩的即興幽默，成為他們創作的靈感源頭。在這樣一個毫無預設的對話片段中，藝術家們看見了角色構築與文化自嘲的可能性。

Gentle Mosquito is formed by a group of multidisciplinary creators, the team brings together talents from illustration, craft, narrative, visual design, and spatial art.

The name “Gentle Mosquito” stems from a real-life anecdote that took place in Ipoh, Malaysia. One evening, the host, having just been bitten by a mosquito at home, asked the guests if they had the same problem. Unexpectedly, one guest joked, “Are the mosquitoes in your house Hakka? They only bite locals and not visitors!” This offhand remark—tinged with dialect and humor—sparked the group’s imagination. In this spontaneous moment, they saw the potential for character-building and cultural self-mockery.
