What you see

Unstable Utopia｜不穩定的烏托邦

如果一個世界看起來完美，
那它很可能只是被建構出來的。

烏托邦從來不是一個可以抵達的地方。
它存在於現實與想像之間——
不斷生成，也持續動搖。

TARTCH 得然藝術本次呈現三位來自不同文化背景的藝術家，透過攝影與繪畫，重新打開我們對風景、感知與身分的理解。

Sao Tanaka 的風景，並不屬於任何地理位置，
而是來自文化與歷史之中，被反覆建構的「自然」。

Susu Li 的影像，誕生於衝突與現實的裂縫之中——
那些在戰地中仍然綻放的野花，
不是浪漫，而是生命持續存在的證據。

Seo Hyein 的創作，游移於現實與潛意識之間，
使「自我」不再穩定，而是一種持續生成的狀態。

在這樣的交錯之中：

自然，不再純粹
感知，不再可靠
身分，也不再穩定

《Unstable Utopia》並不試圖給出答案，
而是邀請你進入這段不確定之中

在觀看與理解之間，
重新思考你所相信的世界。

共同經驗當代感知的邊界。

當創作離開熟悉的語境，
是再一次回到純粹感知的開始。

黃立穎在石墨與鉛筆層層反覆堆疊，異地之中，每一筆都是對自我與創作關係的重新確認——
安靜，卻深刻。

在語言之外，創作成為最直接的對話。
同時和韓國藝術家在同一個空間，用不同藝術語彙，也讓不同文化之間，產生真實而深刻的共鳴。

When creation departs from its familiar context,
it becomes a return to pure perception.

Through repeated layers of graphite and pencil,
Huang Li-Ying reaffirms the relationship between self and creation—
each mark made in a foreign place becomes a quiet yet profound act of awareness.

Beyond language, creation becomes the most direct form of dialogue.
Sharing the same space with a Korean artist, each with a distinct artistic vocabulary,
their works resonate across cultures—
forming a genuine and deeply felt connection.

日本藝術家 谷口典央 透過木雕的刀痕，讓創作的過程本身成為一種痕跡——
每一道刻痕，都像是時間與意志在材料上留下的軌跡，也像是一種為願望留下形體的行動。

台灣藝術家 王怡方 則讓陶土在時間與火的轉化之中，承載情緒與祈願。
在燒製與等待的過程裡，材料不再只是媒介，而成為情感與時間共同完成的容器。

有人安靜地凝視，有人輕聲交流。
在這樣的空間裡，觀看不再只是短暫的停留，而是一種逐漸展開的感受過程。

彷彿重新想起某個長久藏於心中的願望。

People move slowly among the artworks, while some pause beside the artists, listening to the stories behind their creations.

Japanese artist Noriou Taniguchi reveals the traces of the creative process through the marks of wood carving—
each incision becomes a visible imprint of time and intention upon the material, a gesture that gives form to a wish.

Taiwanese artist Yi-Fang Wang allows clay to carry emotions and aspirations through the transformation of time and fire.
In the process of firing and waiting, the material is no longer merely a medium, but a vessel shaped jointly by feeling and time.

Some gaze quietly, while others exchange soft conversations.
Within this space, viewing is no longer a fleeting moment, but a gradually unfolding experience.

As if recalling a wish that has long been held deep within the heart.

《願之所向》是一場關於祈願與內在回應的聯展。

日本藝術家谷口典央與台灣藝術家王怡方，以木雕與陶塑兩種截然不同的媒材，回到神話與象徵的原型語言，為情緒與心念打造一處可以停留的空間。

谷口的刀痕，是時間的刻印；
王怡方的陶土，是情緒的沉澱。

當觀者站在作品之前，
那不是觀看的瞬間——
而是一場與自己對話的開始。

這不是一場只關於形式的展覽，
而是一個讓願望被看見的位置。

3月14日，讓我們一起在得然藝術，為願望留下一個形狀。

Some wishes are not spoken — they are placed.

Where Wishes Reside is a group exhibition about longing, prayer, and inner response.

This exhibition brings together Japanese artist Norio Taniguchi and Taiwanese artist Wang Yifang, whose practices in wood carving and ceramic sculpture engage two distinct materials while returning to the primordial language of myth and symbolism. Through their works, emotions and thoughts that are difficult to articulate are given a place to rest.

The marks of Taniguchi’s carving are imprints of time;
Wang Yifang’s clay holds the quiet sediment of emotion.

When standing before these works, the moment is not merely an act of viewing—
it becomes the beginning of a dialogue with oneself.

This exhibition is not only a presentation of artworks, but a place where wishes may find their form and be gently placed.

一場將藝術、故事，好友與五感體驗交織在一起的ESOW《藝術私廚》。

在 ESOW 的線條與角色的作品環繞中，大家坐在餐桌前，像是走進藝術家的世界裡，用放鬆的方式感受作品背後的哲學與生活態度。

以展覽概念延伸，讓餐桌成為理解藝術的另一種語言——溫暖、細膩，也很日常。感謝每一位到來的朋友，在這私密且柔軟的空間中，感受 ESOW 帶來屬於下町文化的自由與幽默，大家不只是觀展，而是彼此交流、分享、被觸動一同度過一個美好的夜晚。讓「看藝術」變成「一起生活在藝術裡」。

Extending from the exhibition concept, we turned the dining table into another language for understanding art—warm, delicate, and deeply connected to everyday life.
We are truly grateful to every friend who joined us. In this intimate and gentle setting, everyone experienced the freedom and humor of ESOW’s Sh*tamachi culture. It wasn’t just an exhibition; it became a space for connection—sharing, exchanging, and being moved together throughout a beautiful evening.
We hope that “viewing art” can naturally become “living with art.”
