[感謝文] 三週年聚會已落幕。很感謝各位長官、老師、前輩、合作夥伴、同學與新朋友們蒞臨指導 🎉

Our third-anniversary gathering has come to a close. We are deeply grateful for the chance to reconnect with long-unseen mentors, teachers, seniors, partners, classmates, and new friends 🧡

當天我們一起談到作品、空間、品牌與團隊經營，或者從不同的專業背景，激盪出未來合作的想像。這些寶貴的意見和心得，都是我們非常珍惜的收穫。祈望大家日後繼續惠賜指教，讓工作室集思廣益、行穩致遠。也希望當天大家都度過一段愉快的時光!

Conversations ranged from our creative work to topics like spatial design, branding, and team management; others, coming from entirely different professional backgrounds, offered inspiring visions for future collaboration. We hope everyone enjoyed the afternoon!

對於追求永續經營的公司，三年並不算長，我們如履薄冰，不斷思索著：我們是誰? 從何而來?

This reunion gave us the opportunity to share what the studio has accomplished over the past three years, while also allowing us to reflect on ourselves through the updates, questions, and feedback shared by our guests. Three years may not be a long time, but looking back, it seems the studio has been constantly exploring and delving deeper into a fundamental question: Who are we, and where do we come from?

無論是重新理解自己的創作 DNA、研究自身所在的土地樣貌，或是尋找屬於台灣的顏色與文化語言__當我們更深入地向本源探索、那些看似內省的追尋，反而會長成一股向前挺立、持續成長的力量。

Whether it involves re-examining our creative DNA, studying the landscape of the land we inhabit, or seeking out colors and cultural languages unique to Taiwan—when we explore our origins more deeply, these seemingly backward-looking inquiries actually transform into a powerful force for standing tall and moving forward.

三週年與其說紀念，更像是一個新的起點。我們將帶著這份初心，與大家一同見證更多可能。

在不設限的實踐中，做自己與他人的光源 / Part 1

在過往的成長歷程中，我經常面對沒有既定答案、也沒有明確路徑的情境。從出國學創作、完成博士研究、進入高校升至教授，到後來毅然離開體制創業。我已習慣在全新且陌生的環境中摸索前進；在黑暗中，做自己與他人的光源。我喜歡挑戰，不希望太早被身分、制度或分類定義自己「可以做什麼」。我持續嚮往的，是作為一位自由且自律的先驅者。

Being a Source of Light for Myself and Others Through Limitless Practice / Part 1

Throughout my journey, I have often faced situations with no fixed answers or clear path. From studying design and art abroad and completing my doctoral research, to becoming a university professor and leaving academia to concentrate on my studio practice, I have learned to find my way through unfamiliar territory and be a light for myself and others.

I welcome challenges and do not want titles, systems or categories to define too early what I can do. I hope to remain a pioneer guided by freedom and self-discipline.

||| 不重複自己

對我而言，人的能力與創造力不該受領域所限。設計的形式、學科的分類、職能的劃分……，都是為了方便理解世界而建立的架構，不該倒過來成為限制前進的紅線。很感謝身旁朋友的支持，讓我盡可能不重複既有，持續享受挑戰來豐富生命經驗。

Not Repeating Myself

Human ability and creativity should not be limited by fields. Design formats, academic disciplines and professional roles help us understand the world, but they should never become fixed boundaries that constrain or hold us back.

I am grateful for the support of those around me. It allows me to explore beyond what already exists and enrich my life through new challenges.

||| 方法的延伸：研究與實踐的結合

「研究與實踐的結合」是我跨越領域最核心的方法。研究讓我放下既有答案，回到問題本身；實踐則帶我落地，去理解一件事背後的文化脈絡、牽涉的群眾與現實制約。因此，跨領域從不是刻意追求不同的作品類型，而是在面對挑戰時絕不事先設限。媒介可以不斷流變，為的是讓創作更好地連結理念與成果。成立工作室後，我持續深究這樣的思考，努力轉化為一套可團隊協作持續運作的工作模式。

Research and Practice

Bringing research and practice together is at the heart of how I work across traditional fields or disciplines. Research helps me set aside existing answers and return to the question or questions. Practice brings ideas into the real world and reveals the culture, people and practical limits behind each challenge.

Working across fields or disciplines is not about deliberately creating different types of work. It is about facing each challenge without setting limits in advance. The medium may change, but the goal remains the same: to connect ideas with meaningful outcomes.

延續我們在不同材質與媒介中傳遞的創作精神，以 2026 全新《島嶼寓言》系列為主軸，透過重新敘事的巧思，逐步展開作品的最終樣貌，讓不同材質與尺寸之間的轉換得以被感知。

從前端的策展研究、概念發展，到工藝與數位之間的跨域實踐，案子的過程與心路歷程，都被我們留存在工作室的各個角落，使我們的空間也成為創作的一部分。

Extending our creative spirit across different materials and mediums, our “Island Tales” collection is the central narrative of our new gallery display. Through a reimagined approach to storytelling and exhibition, the works gradually unfold in their final form.

From early curatorial research and conceptual development to cross-disciplinary practices between craft and digital processes, the evolution and inner journey of the project are preserved throughout our public gallery and studio—making the space itself part of the creative process.

✨ 延續論壇後的深度交流

很高興在「超越閾境」國際論壇帶來精彩演講後，能再次邀請來自哈佛大學的 Allen Sayegh 蒞臨我們的工作室，為同仁與合作夥伴帶來一場更深入、也更貼近實務的分享。

在這場交流中，Allen 不僅延伸了論壇中的核心觀點，更細緻地拆解多個精彩專案背後的設計思考與製作細節，從空間策略、技術整合到執行層面的巧思，讓我們在創作與實務之間獲得許多啟發與養分。

特別開心的是，這次分享也讓一路以來與我們並肩奮鬥的合作夥伴們，能在同一個空間中彼此交流專業、分享經驗，激盪出更多跨領域的對話與可能性。

感謝 Allen 慷慨分享珍貴的經驗與視角，也謝謝所有參與其中的夥伴。期待未來能延續這樣開放而深入的交流，持續合作、共同創作出更多精彩且有影響力的作品。

✨ Continuing the Dialogue Beyond the Forum

After his inspiring keynote at the “Beyond Transit” International Forum, we were delighted to welcome Allen Sayegh from Harvard University to our studio for a more focused and practice-oriented sharing session with our team and partners.

Building on the ideas from the forum, Allen shared deeper insights into the design thinking and production details behind several projects—covering spatial strategies, technical integration, and the realities of ex*****on. These perspectives offered valuable inspiration at the intersection of concept and practice.

It was especially meaningful to gather our long-time collaborators in one space, exchanging expertise and sparking cross-disciplinary conversations. We are truly grateful to Allen for his generous sharing, and we look forward to continuing this dialogue and creating impactful work together in the future.
