現正展出Now On View｜風景，重構之中The Landscape, Recast
大久保如彌向來擅長以織物、繁花與溫室意象，建構專屬的心理風景；作品《縫製一個家》延續其經典視覺語彙，把「縫紉」這項日常女性勞動，轉化為關於記憶、歸屬與家的抽象思辨。
自幼和畫家母親一同作畫、成長在橫濱滿是西式器物的環境，讓「家庭」始終是大久保如彌創作的核心命題。對她而言，家庭結構，正是理解人際、社會乃至跨文化關係的原型。
畫面中的縫線、拼布、溫室、屋舍草圖，與威廉・莫里斯風的繁花，彷彿是人們試圖縫合零散記憶、拼構理想中「家」的樣貌。

Naomi Okubo is known for crafting intimate psychological landscapes through motifs of textiles, blossoms and greenhouses. In Sewing / Home, she continues her signature visual language, transforming sewing — a quotidian feminine craft — into an abstract meditation on memory, belonging and home.
Growing up in a Yokohama household filled with Western furnishings, and drawing alongside her painter mother from an early age, “family” has remained the central theme of Okubo’s practice. For the artist, family structure serves as the archetype for understanding interpersonal dynamics, societies, and even cross-cultural relations.
Threads, patchwork, greenhouses, house sketches and William Morris-style florals populate the canvas, embodying humanity’s persistent attempt to stitch fragmented memories together and assemble an ideal vision of “home”.
