來自匈牙利的導演 Julia Sandor 在得知 Bernar Venet 的大型雕塑於距離布達佩斯約 80 公里的中部城鎮大克勒什（Nagykőrös）製作後，便對這些作品背後的製作過程產生好奇，更成為她拍攝 𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 的起點。

Julia 自 2021 年開始拍攝此片，鏡頭記錄了 Venet 於柏林滕珀爾霍夫機場（Flughafen Tempelhof）及巴黎凡登廣場（Place Vendôme）《歷史的寓言》（La Parabole de l‘Histoire）等重要展覽的籌備及製作過程。歷時兩年多的拍攝後，Julia 於 2023 年完成 𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨，這也是她的首部紀錄片。

本片曾入選多個國際影展，並於巴黎、斯德哥爾摩、里加、倫敦、廣州等地放映；2025 年 6 月於倫敦法國文化中心（Institut français du Royaume-Uni）舉行英國首映。

Julia 在影片中特別保留鋼材切割、彎折、敲擊與移動的聲音，讓觀眾不只「看見」雕塑的製作，也能感受到材料本身的重量、力量與阻力，以及大型雕塑背後較少被看見的技術、勞動與工藝。

Hungarian director Julia Sandor became curious about the making of Bernar Venet’s sculptures after learning that they were produced in Nagykőrös, a town in central Hungary about 80 kilometres from Budapest. Her curiosity about how these works come into being became the starting point for 𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨.

Julia began filming in 2021, documenting the preparation and production of Venet’s major projects at Flughafen Tempelhof in Berlin and Place Vendôme in Paris, including La Parabole de l’Histoire. After more than two years of filming, she completed 𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 in 2023, her first documentary.

The film has been selected for several international film festivals and screened in cities including Paris, Stockholm, Riga, London and Guangzhou. In June 2025, it received its UK premiere at the Institut français du Royaume-Uni in London.

Julia preserves the sounds of steel being cut, bent, struck, and moved, allowing viewers to sense the weight, force, and resistance of the material, as well as the labour and craftsmanship behind Venet’s monumental sculptures.

Running approximately 30 minutes, 𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 is currently on view at Asia Art Center as part of BERNAR VENET: Indeterminate Radicality, through November 22.

📢亞洲藝術中心代理藝術家 #李錫奇，現正參展 #橫山書法藝術館「書寫的變奏與對話——書法・設計的當代語境」。

作為臺灣戰後現代藝術的重要藝術家，李錫奇始終在傳統與現代之間尋找自己的方式。從版畫、繪畫到複合媒材，他將書法中的線條、節奏與筆勢帶入創作，也一步步發展出鮮明的個人語言。

對李錫奇而言，書法不一定要是可以辨讀的文字。筆鋒的快慢、線條的起伏、墨色的濃淡，本身就能形成畫面的節奏。觀看他的作品，與其說是在「讀」一段文字，更像是在感受書寫的過程與氣韻。

橫山書法藝術館是全臺首座由官方經營的書藝主題館。建築師 #潘天壹 將書道與禪意融入建築設計，以桃園常見的陂塘化作「墨池」，建築空間則如「硯台」般展開，五棟展示館宛如五方篆印散落於公園之中。

這項設計不僅獲得2018 #國家卓越建設獎 金質獎，更於2022年獲有「建築界奧斯卡」之稱的 #全球卓越建設獎（FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards）金獎肯定。還沒走進展廳，觀眾其實就已經先走進了書法的想像。

Asia Art Center artist Lee Shi-Chi is currently featured in Variations and Dialogues in Writing: Calligraphy and Design in a Contemporary Context at the .

As one of the most prominent figures in Taiwan’s post-war modern art movement, Lee Shi-Chi spent much of his career moving between tradition and modernity. Across printmaking, painting and mixed media, he brought the lines, rhythms and gestures of calligraphy into his work, gradually developing a distinctive visual language of his own.

For Lee, there was no need for calligraphy to remain legible as text. The speed of the brushstrokes, the rise and fall of a line, and the density of ink could themselves shape the rhythm of an image. When it comes to Lee’s calligraphy inspired works, experiencing the movement and resonance of the writing itself is therefore more important than act of “reading” the words.

Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center is Taiwan’s first publicly operated museum dedicated to the art of calligraphy. Architect Pan Tien-I incorporated the aesthetics of calligraphy and Zen into its design, transforming Taoyuan’s characteristic pond landscape into an “ink pool”, with the architecture unfolding like an inkstone and the five exhibition buildings scattered across the park like five carved seals.

The design received the Gold Award in the Best Planning and Design category at the 2018 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards, and later won Gold at the 2022 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards, often described as one of the most prestigious honours in the architectural and real estate world. Before visitors even step into the galleries, they have already entered an architectural interpretation of .

Precisely calculated arcs and angles stand in contrast to Indeterminate Lines that overlap and collapse under the force of gravity, revealing the coexistence of “order” and “indeterminacy” within Bernar Venet’s practice. ⠀
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening and shared this special moment marking Bernar Venet’s first solo exhibition in Taiwan. The lively exchanges throughout the event also gave the artist a warm sense of the enthusiasm of audiences in Taiwan.

The exhibition focuses on works created over the past two decades, bringing together sculptures and works on paper, including new works from 2026. Rooted in a conceptual approach, Venet has developed a distinctive language of line, geometry, and sculpture, while continuing to explore the relationship between his works and the surrounding space.

當藝術不只是關於「美」與「形式」，而成為一種思考的方式，我們將如何重新理解藝術？

9月11日法國重要當代藝術家 Bernar Venet 將親自來到國立臺灣藝術大學，分享他的藝術創作與思想。

此次講座由 #國立臺灣藝術大學美術學院雕塑學系 與 #亞洲藝術中心 共同主辦。臺藝大雕塑學系自1967年獨立設系至今，是國內唯一以雕塑為研究與創作核心的專業科系；當 Venet 走進這樣一個具有深厚雕塑教育傳統的場域，也讓此次交流格外具有意義。

以「Bernar Venet：從懷疑出發的藝術思考」L’Éloge du doute dans le raisonnement artistique 為題，Venet 將從六十餘年的創作實踐出發，分享他如何以數學、科學、語言與哲學持續挑戰藝術既有框架。

On September 11, French contemporary artist Bernar Venet will visit National Taiwan University of Arts for a special lecture co-organized by the Department of Sculpture, College of Fine Arts, NTUA, and Asia Art Center.

Through L’Éloge du doute dans le raisonnement artistique (Artistic Thinking that Begins with Doubt), Venet will reflect on more than six decades of artistic practice and his continuous challenge to established ideas of art.

The lecture will be moderated by Professor Chun-Lan Liu, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, NTUA.
