As seen backstage before last Saturday night's Mexico City show, get up close with some of the accessories and details that capture the essence of Cruise 2024 by Maria Grazia Chiuri on.dior.com/cruise-2024. With toile de Jouy reimagined by artist Pietro Ruffo and prints and embroideries of Mexican flora and fauna, the depictions of nature are joined by a plethora of butterflies from bag appliqués to jewels by local silversmith Rafael Villa. The involvement of other Mexican artisans includes, from the Oaxaca region, huipil tunics made by craftspeople coordinated by Remigio Mestas and the pepenado embroidery on a 'Bar' jacket and skirt by Rocinante artisans. Looks blending masculine and feminine identities include a poncho and shirts conceived in collaboration with Hilán Cruz and the Yolcentle Taller in Puebla, and jarocho hats characteristic of the state of Veracruz are produced by the Alema millinery atelier.
