德鴻畫廊創立於1993年，以推薦優秀且無國界的藝術為宗旨，致力於推動台灣當代藝術與國際藝術接軌。近年來推薦台灣當代年輕藝術家前進國際，並積極參與各大國際藝術博覽會，如北京中藝博 (CIGE)、韓國國際藝術博覽會 (KIAF)、台北國際藝術博覽會 (ART TAIPEI),
ART.

FAIR 21德國科隆國際藝術博覽會。
曾為台灣當代連線一員，舉辦Young art Taipei；現為亞太連線藝術會員，舉辦ONE ART Taipei藝術台北。未來德鴻畫廊亦積極將國際精彩的藝術作品引介到國內，讓許多藝術同好能近距離觀賞。

Der-Horng Gallery has been established since 1993. Our mission is to present high-quality arts without boundary, and introduce contemporary Taiwanese arts worldwide. In recent years, we actively participated in major art fairs and exhibitions internationally, such as CIGE Bei

jing, KIAF Korea, Art Taipei and Art Fair 21. Der-Horng Gallery became member of Taiwan Contemporary Art Link, and hosted YOUNG ART TAIPEI, International Contemporary Hotel Art Fair. In the future, we are eager to introduce excellent artworks to art lovers in Taiwan.

Thank you to all our distinguished guests for attending today’s opening. We would also like to extend our special thanks to the artist Tez KIM for the engaging and insightful guided tour, as well as to the Yue Sheng Home team for their thoughtful planning and dedicated support, which made this opening event a great success.
The exhibition will run until May 30. We warmly invite everyone to take this opportunity to visit YASEN HOME in Taichung and enjoy the wonderful works on display.

藝術家介紹 Artist Statement:

韓國藝術家 Tez KIM，1977年出生，現居住並創作於南韓。
畢業於美國羅德島設計學院工業設計學院。

「隨著年齡漸長和身心狀態的成熟，人們似乎總難以保有最原本的單純，反倒是更趨於感知世界繁雜紛亂的一面。面對生命在倏忽之間產生的質變，韓國藝術家金兌洙（Tez KIM, 1977-）在其近年以「黑髮男孩」為代表的系列作中，將對自我生命歷程的回望轉為創作語彙，透過孩童樣貌的人物形象，傳遞了一份獨屬於幼少時期的純真稚氣。」－非池中藝術網李竺恩撰寫

Born in 1977, Tez KIM lives and works in South Korea.
South Korean artist Tez KIM graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design 2009 in the USA.
As people grow older and their physical and mental states mature, it often becomes difficult to retain their original sense of simplicity. Instead, they become increasingly attuned to the complexity and chaos of the world. In response to the subtle yet profound transformations that occur over the course of life, Korean artist Tez KIM (b. 1977) has, in his recent series featuring the “black-haired boy,” transformed reflections on his own life journey into a visual language. Through childlike figures, he conveys a sense of innocence and purity that belongs uniquely to early childhood.

這次德鴻畫廊首度跨界與台中的悅陞家居合作展出，也是 Tez KIM 在台灣的第二場個展。藝術與生活空間的結合，帶來全新的觀展體驗，誠摯邀請大家前來參觀，一同感受作品的魅力與空間氛圍。

This exhibition marks the first cross-industry collaboration between Der-Horng Art Gallery and YASEN HOME STORY in Taichung. It is also Tez KIM’s second solo exhibition in Taiwan. Blending art with living space, the show offers a unique viewing experience. We warmly invite you to visit and immerse yourself in the artworks and atmosphere.

創作理念Art Concept

透過圖像的聯想，藝術家將痕跡的造型與島嶼的意象做連結，在觀看這些不存在的島嶼時，能產生一種似曾相識卻無法定位的陌生感，讓這些痕跡得以從日常中抽離，建立起一種介於真實與虛構間的模糊語境，進而反思如何看待那些細微、破碎卻蘊含深刻記憶的存在。
Through visual association, the artist connects the forms of these traces with the imagery of islands. When encountering these non-existent islands, viewers experience a feeling that is at once familiar and disorienting, as something seems known yet cannot be precisely located. By removing these traces from their everyday context, the work creates an ambiguous space between reality and fiction, inviting reflection on how we perceive subtle, fragmented presences that carry profound memories.
