本次展覽邀請林瑋萱、田歆與陳薇因參與。三位藝術家的作品分別從自然觀察、生活經驗與流行文化圖像出發，在同一空間裡呈現各自不同的創作面貌。

𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱_𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗔, 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

卡通、漫畫、動畫、街頭塗鴉、刺青與網路迷因等圖像，在當今生活環境裡已是普及到無所不在。這些原本被視為非主流的視覺語言，現今不只存在於螢幕或街頭，也進入當代藝術創作的脈絡裡。

在陳薇因的作品中，我們可以很清楚看見這些圖像所帶來的影響。誇張的表情、被拉長或扭曲的身體、鮮明的輪廓線，以及帶有戲劇感的動作，都讓人聯想到漫畫、卡通與街頭文化裡熟悉的角色形象。這些圖像之所以吸引人，往往是因為它們能用最直接的方式傳達情緒與性格，眼神、姿勢，甚至是不合比例的身體，都能充分表達角色當下的狀態。

陳薇因將這些熟悉的視覺元素帶入自己的創作之中。人物、動物與虛構生物的界線變得模糊，角色的身體也不再遵循現實的比例。原本存在於平面圖像裡的線條、表情與動作，被轉化成陶土中的立體形象，擁有了重量、體積與實際的存在感。

從繪畫到陶塑，陳薇因持續在不同媒材之間發展這些角色。來自流行文化與次文化的視覺經驗，在她的作品裡被重新組合，形成介於幽默、荒謬與日常觀察之間的獨特樣貌。

Cartoons, comics, animation, graffiti, tattoos, and internet memes have become part of contemporary visual culture. In Chen Wei-Yin’s work, their influence can be seen in exaggerated expressions, distorted bodies, bold outlines, and theatrical poses.

Drawn to the directness of these visual languages, Chen incorporates familiar imagery into her practice. The boundaries between humans, animals, and imaginary creatures become fluid, while figures are freed from realistic proportions.

Transforming lines, expressions, and gestures from two-dimensional images into ceramic sculptures, Chen gives them physical weight and presence. Moving between painting and ceramics, she continues to develop a distinctive visual language shaped by humor, absurdity, and everyday observation.

𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱_𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗔, 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

陳薇因出生於新竹，畢業於國立臺灣師範大學美術學系繪畫組，並於 2025 年完成國立臺南藝術大學應用藝術研究所陶瓷組碩士學位。近年曾於中國景德鎮陶瓷大學、美國阿肯色大學駐村創作，目前正於美國巴爾的摩陶藝中心Baltimore Clayworks 駐村。

受到卡通、漫畫與次文化圖像的影響，陳薇因創造出許多介於人物、動物與虛構生物之間的角色。這些角色經常有著誇張的表情、變形的身體，以及帶有戲劇感的動作。

對薇因而言，變形並不是脫離現實，而是重新強調現實的方法。那些日常裡的尷尬、失衡、壓力與矛盾，透過玩笑般的造型被放大，也讓觀看多了一點距離與幽默。

從繪畫到陶塑，陳薇因持續思考圖像與立體之間的關係。作品中的角色帶著鮮明的表情與姿態，在玩笑、表演與日常觀察之間，發展出屬於自己的高度辨識的藝術語彙。

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, Chen Wei-Yin received her BFA in Painting from National Taiwan Normal University and completed her MFA in Ceramics at National Tainan University of the Arts in 2025. She has participated in residency programs at Jingdezhen Ceramic University in China and the University of Arkansas in the United States, and is currently an artist-in-residence at Baltimore Clayworks.

Influenced by cartoons, comics, and subcultural imagery, Chen creates characters that exist somewhere between humans, animals, and imaginary creatures. Their exaggerated expressions, distorted bodies, and theatrical gestures bring a sense of playfulness to her work.

For Chen, distortion is not a departure from reality but a way of highlighting it. Through humor and transformation, everyday feelings of awkwardness, imbalance, pressure, and contradiction are amplified and reimagined.

Working across painting and ceramics, she continues to explore the relationship between image and form, developing a distinctive visual language through expressive characters and keen observations of daily life.

走進田歆的作品，最先吸引目光的是色彩。

在創作中，田歆經常結合壓克力顏料與色鉛筆。色鉛筆留下的線條除了輪廓描繪，也成為畫面結構的一部分，讓植物、建築與地景之間產生清晰而自由的連結。

相較於再現眼前景色，田歆更在意不同地方之間所產生的聯想與連結。她曾提到，在英國生活期間，許多初次見到的風景雖然陌生，卻常帶來一種難以解釋的熟悉感。某個公園裡的長椅、某棵樹木，甚至一片開闊的草地，都可能讓她想起另一個地方的生活經驗。

這些經驗也逐漸反映在作品之中。熟悉與陌生、此處與彼處，在畫面裡同時存在。鮮明的色彩、清晰的輪廓，以及略帶平面感的空間安排，使風景不再只僅是特定地點的紀錄，也是在不同地方之間來回穿梭的視覺片段。

明亮而飽和的色彩，也成為田歆作品中鮮明的視覺特色。那些看似真實的景色，也讓不同地方的片段在同一幅畫面裡相遇。

One of the first things that draws viewers to Tien Hsin’s paintings is her use of colour.

Working with acrylic paint and colour pencils, she creates landscapes defined by vivid hues and expressive lines. Rather than documenting a specific place, Tien is interested in the connections that emerge between different locations and memories.

During her time living in the UK, unfamiliar landscapes often felt surprisingly familiar. These experiences continue to shape her paintings, where fragments of different places coexist within the same image.

Bright colours, clear outlines, and simplified spaces give her works a distinctive visual language, allowing memories, observations, and imagined landscapes to meet on the canvas.

田歆的繪畫經常從生活環境出發。窗外的植物、街道上的樹木，或旅途中經過的景色，都是她持續描繪的題材。

一個地方待得夠久，記住的不只是地名，可能還有窗外的樹木、城市的色彩、空氣裡的氣味，或每天經過的一段路。這些生活中的片段，成為田歆作品畫面的一部分。

熟悉的植物、街道的轉角、遠方的山景，被帶進繪畫之中。對田歆而言，風景不只是眼前的景色，也承載著生活、移動與停留的經驗。

在媒材運用上，田歆經常結合壓克力顏料與色鉛筆。鮮明的輪廓線與清新的色彩，使畫面呈現明亮而輕快的節奏，也成為她作品中鮮明的視覺特色。

Tien Hsin’s paintings often originate from her everyday surroundings. The plants outside her window, the trees lining the streets, and the scenery encountered during her travels are all recurring subjects in her work.

When one stays in a place long enough, what remains in memory is not only its name, but also the trees outside the window, the colors of the streets, the scent in the air, or a familiar route traveled each day. These fragments of daily life gradually become part of her compositions.

Experiences of living in different regions continue to appear throughout Tien’s works. Familiar plants, street corners, and distant mountain views often reemerge in various forms. The landscapes depicted in her paintings may not originate from a single location, yet they are all connected to places where she has lived, stayed, or passed through.

In terms of materials, Tien frequently combines acrylic with colored pencils. Distinctive outlines and fresh, vibrant colors give her paintings a bright and lively rhythm, becoming one of the most recognizable visual characteristics of her work.

從臺灣、英國到葡萄牙，不同地方的生活經驗持續出現在田歆的作品中。

田歆出生於臺北，畢業於東海大學美術系，並於英國里茲大學取得美術碩士學位。她曾於英國、臺灣及葡萄牙參與展覽與駐村計畫。

在臺灣與英國生活期間，田歆經常以身邊的環境作為創作題材。窗外的植物、街道上的樹木、散步時經過的風景，以及旅途中所見的景色，都成為她持續描繪的對象。作品中的景色來自不同階段累積的觀察與記錄。曾經居住過的城市、熟悉的植物，以及沿途經過的風景，經常在畫面中再次出現，並透過不同的色彩與構圖重新組織。

本週，邀請大家一起走進田歆的工作室與作品之中。

From Taiwan and the United Kingdom to Portugal, experiences from different places continue to appear in Tien Hsin’s works.

Born in Taipei, Tien Hsin graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Tunghai University and later earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. She has participated in exhibitions and artist residency programs in the UK, Taiwan, and Portugal.

During her time living in Taiwan and the UK, Tien often drew inspiration from her immediate surroundings. The plants outside her window, the trees lining the streets, the scenery encountered during walks, and the landscapes seen while traveling all became subjects that she continued to depict. The scenes in her works are drawn from observations and records accumulated over different periods of her life. Cities where she once lived, familiar plants, and landscapes encountered along the way frequently reappear in her paintings, reorganized through different colors and compositions.

This week, we’re taking a peek inside Tien Hsin’s studio and the world of her paintings.

登山、速寫與自然書寫，是林瑋萱創作的重要養分。那些沿途記錄下來的風景與觀察，經過反覆整理後，逐漸發展成畫面中的線條、色彩與結構。工作室裡，草圖、筆記與作品並列存在，也保留著創作持續進行中的狀態。

At the close of the week, let's return to the studio.

Hiking, sketching, and nature writing are important sources of inspiration for Lin’s creative practice. The landscapes and observations recorded along the way, after being revisited and organized repeatedly, gradually evolve into the lines, colors, and structures found within her works.

In the studio, sketches, notes, and finished pieces coexist, preserving the sense of an ongoing creative process.

A Little More Time for Things That Grow Slowly

「今天，我試著走得慢一些。不急著登頂，而是在轉角處蹲下，看那些叫不出名字的生命，在苔蘚與枯木間舒展。我待在那裡看了很久。發覺它們正以一種我還沒學會的從容，慢慢長成自己。」

登山、速寫與自然書寫是林瑋萱創作的重要養分。長時間的行走與觀察，使她持續關注自然環境中的各種變化；從山林景色、地景轉換到植物生長的姿態，皆逐漸累積為創作的一部分。

這些長期累積的觀察，經過反覆整理與轉化之後，成為畫面中的色彩、線條與結構。作品保留了行走時視線不斷移動的節奏，也反映出藝術家長期與自然相處的經驗。

Mountain hiking, sketching, and nature writing are important sources of inspiration for Lin’s artistic practice. Extended periods of walking and observation have led her to continuously pay attention to the many changes within the natural environment. From forest landscapes and shifting terrains to the forms and growth patterns of plants, these experiences gradually become part of her creative process.

These observations, accumulated over a long period of time and repeatedly organized and transformed, eventually take shape as colors, lines, and structures within her works. The artworks preserve the rhythm of a constantly moving gaze during her walks while also reflecting the artist’s long-term experience of living in close connection with nature.

林瑋萱的創作經常從行走開始。

近年來，她持續透過登山、速寫與自然書寫累積創作養分，將沿途的觀察與感受轉化為繪畫作品。除了創作之外，她也出版了《我把耳朵借給了畫筆》與《耳邊風：山風、草香、獸鳴和速寫本裡的風景》。《耳邊風》一書並榮獲 2025 年度最佳少年兒童讀物獎。

本週，邀請大家一起認識林瑋萱。

Lin Weihsuan’s creative journey often begins with walking.

In recent years, she has continued to draw inspiration from hiking, sketching, and nature writing, transforming her observations and experiences along the way into paintings. In addition to creating art, she has also published books and was honored with the 2025 Best Children’s and Young Readers’ Book Award.
