The Moolah Multi-Art Space is pleased to share that, following the presentation of works by SU Wong-Shen at ART TAIPEI 2025, a work by the artist has entered the collection of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts after subsequent professional consultation and acquisition procedures.
This marks a significant moment not only in the continued institutional recognition of SU Wong-Shen’s practice within Taiwan’s national public collection system, but also for The Moolah Multi-Art Space. It is the first museum acquisition facilitated by the gallery since its founding.
At The Moolah, we have always understood the role of a gallery to extend beyond presentation and sales. It lies equally in sustained collaboration: accompanying artists in articulating the trajectory of their practice, fostering dialogue between works and broader professional contexts, and creating the conditions through which an artist’s work may be seen, understood, and situated with greater depth over time. In this sense, the acquisition also reaffirms that the significance of an art fair does not end with the duration of the fair itself, but may continue to unfold through ongoing professional exchange and meaningful public institutional engagement.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts for its recognition, and to SU Wong-Shen for his enduring commitment to his practice and for his trust. The Moolah is honored to have been part of this process, and remains committed to supporting artists through long-range dialogue, sustained advocacy, and broader public visibility.
