A-7958畫廊成立於2008年12月，設立於中台灣的美術館特區，綠色經國園道上，充滿藝術與人文活力的畫廊，提供一個溫馨舒適的空間，是藝術工作者的舞台。當台灣西半邊的中軸線，從台北經由台中到高雄被高速鐵路貫穿後，「緩慢」這個時間漫長慵懶的調性似乎一下子縮短而由感覺「快速」取代，也改變了地理上的差異同時影響到心理、生理與城市環境間的互動。
雖然面臨了全球金融海嘯，經濟不景氣，大家似乎也都不看好，但是藝術這條路是一輩子的事，賺錢不是最初設立的目的，曾幾何時追求創造的動力，追求理想的願景，逐一被擴張迅捷的藝術市場拍賣成交價-“虛擬的數字”取代，對於有意識堅持理念的藝術家，某種心靈上與物質抗拒拉扯的力量正在萌芽，「A-7958」畫廊營造了這種期望與氛圍，只想將文化推廣，傾力推薦深具收藏潛力的台灣藝術家，同時也提攜新銳藝術能將對藝術的熱情散播出去就是我們所有成員最大的心願。A-7958是一個藝
文界、藝術家、收藏家的互動場域，和愛好藝術的大眾作最親切的交流，期盼能落實經營當代台灣藝術，進而放眼國際。
A-7958 Gallery was established on National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art section of Green Park Road in December 2008. The gallery is full of the vitality of the arts and humanities, and provides a heart-warming and comfortable space, also play an important role - the stage for the artists. Since having the high speed railway, from Taipei, Taichung to Kaohsiung, the ‘fast’ instead of ‘slow’, it has changed the interaction of psychology, physiology and the urban environment. Since the art market price instead of creation and idea, for those who insist their concept, also has been infected by ‘virtual number’. Money is not the initial purpose when ‘A-7958’ established. We provide another kind of environment, our strongest wish is we want to popularize the culture, and try to recommend Taiwan artists who have the potential. 推廣當代藝術，培養年輕新銳藝術，不侷限任何形態表現方式。
2012年成立雕塑館，以立體雕塑、裝置藝術等的常態性展覽，公共藝術作品專業規畫設計。
