〈構築空氣〉Architecture as Air

空氣是細微看不見的存在，
依附著溫差、對流、擾動而變動。
封閉靜止的空氣是許多的不存在，
這空氣有一種悶悶的形狀；
菜園裡植物在日照下進行著光合作用，
空氣裡的含氧量讓空氣有一種新鮮的形狀；
柏油路上空氣吸附著灰塵與熱能，
有了膨脹混濁的形狀；
看不見的氣體有了形容詞，
空氣就有了形狀。
構築空氣是在存在中塞滿許多的不存在，
不存在之中置入了存在；
存在與不存在的交雜瓦解了封閉而厚重的認知，
透過光線及人的移動形成線段的聚合及消散。
楓川秀雅以不鏽鋼構成空間裝置，透過沈重的材料捕捉空氣輕盈的動態感，材料與造型上形成強烈的對比，在空間中創造出視覺差異。作品中由線條所呈現的動態瞬間，使觀眾能在有形的結構中想像空氣流動的無形樣態。
Air, an impalpable presence that cannot be seen, undulates with shifts in temperature, convection, and turbulence. Enclosed, still air comprises many a nonexistence, stiflingly shaped. Plants in the vegetable garden photosynthesize under the sun, the oxygen content lending fresh form to the air. On the asphalt road, the air absorbs dust and heat, thickening into a swelling turbidity. What once escaped the eye now requires adjectives, and air begins to take form.
To construct air is to fill existence with nonexistence, nonexistence with existence. The blending of the two collapses the laden, confined perception. Through light and human movement, lines coalesce and dissipate.
The FCHY Architect Lab maneuvers stainless steel into a spatial installation, capturing the dynamics of air through a ponderous material. A striking contrast emerges between medium and form, conjuring a vivid tension. The momentum etched in lines allows the viewer to envision the formless air flow through a tangible structure.
