Lee Najin’s distinctive artistic language turns viewing into a serene, immersive journey of exploration.

Moving beyond traditional brushwork, she layer-builds custom-blended paints to create sculptured, relief-like textures. Gorgeous crowns and jewels glisten under the interplay of light and shadow; yet upon closer inspection, hidden backgrounds—castles, opera houses, and subtle motifs—quietly reveal themselves on the canvas.

像裝飾蛋糕般擠出顏料，讓童話、記憶與情感在畫布上緩緩浮現……✨

在李奈珍的全新《故事書》系列中，動物們走出童話，成為承載人類情感的旅人。她獨創的「擠花技術（Squeezing Technique）」，使顏料如雕塑般立體，隨著光影流轉，在不同空間中展現出截然不同的樣貌。

Like decorating a cake with piped frosting, Lee Najin squeezes paint onto the canvas, allowing fairy tales, memories, and emotions to slowly emerge…

In her new Story Book series, animals step out of the pages of fairy tales and become travelers carrying human emotions. Through her signature Squeezing Technique, layers of paint take on a sculptural quality, transforming with light and shadow to reveal entirely different atmospheres in each space.

當time被替換為memory，展覽所提出的，不只是語意上的轉換，更是一種對時間的重新理解。在李奈珍的作品中，真正形塑我們的，未必是時間本身，而是那些在時間中反覆浮現的記憶。

展覽現正展出至8月30日，誠摯邀請您走入這場關於記憶、成長與時間的寓言，在凝視作品的同時，也重新閱讀自己的生命經驗。

Lee Najin’s solo exhibition, Once Upon a Memory, is now on view!

When “time” is replaced by “memory”, the exhibition proposes not simply a shift in language, but a new way of understanding time itself. In Lee's works, what truly shapes us is not time alone, but the memories that continually resurface throughout our lives.

「Once upon a time（從前從前）」是每一則童話故事的開端，描述的是故事如何開始；《Once Upon a Memory》所關注的，則是故事如何留存在記憶裡。

大雋藝術榮幸於2026年7月11日至8月30日推出韓國藝術家李奈珍個展《Once Upon a Memory》，邀請觀者走入藝術家以幼獸、王冠、珠寶與金色光澤所構築的寓言世界，重新思考記憶如何在時間中持續發生，以及它如何悄然塑造我們觀看世界的方式。

"Once upon a time" marks the beginning of every fairy tale—it tells us how a story begins. Once Upon a Memory, however, is concerned with how stories remain within us, long after they have been told.

Rich Art Gallery is pleased to present Once Upon a Memory, a solo exhibition by Korean artist Lee Najin, on view from July 11 to August 30, 2026. Through an allegorical world inhabited by young animals adorned with crowns, jewels, and luminous gold, the exhibition invites viewers to consider how memory continues to unfold across time and quietly shapes the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

In a world where even pausing requires a reason, the collaboration between Rich Art Gallery and HAUSEKI gently questions the boundaries of our routine.

Conor Murgatroyd於1995年生於西約克郡布拉德福德，畢業於倫敦切爾西藝術學院。

其創作如同劇場舞台，將平凡角色、物件與符號並置，透過鮮明色彩與精密建構的寓言式靜物，將日常瑣碎轉化為具備「他者性」的神祕存在。Murgatroyd擅長以機智幽默的超現實風格捕捉平庸瞬間，引導觀者深入其內心景觀，在虛實交織中重新看見生命原始且未經馴服的美。

作品在國際備受矚目，展覽足跡遍及全球。曾展出於倫敦薩奇美術館、香港Woaw Gallery、台北Chen Projects以及中國Fir Gallery，展現出其跨越文化邊界的藝術影響力。

Conor Murgatroyd was born in 1995, Bradford, United Kingdom, and graduated from Chelsea College of Arts in London.

Drawing from personal heritage and a fascination with history, he transforms everyday objects and characters into a theatrical dialogue between the past and present. By blending vibrant figuration with meticulously constructed allegorical still life, he reinterprets banal moments through a witty, surrealist lens. Murgatroyd’s paintings act as a portal to an inner landscape, inviting viewers to find raw beauty within the unfathomable mystery of daily life.

Murgatroyd’s work has garnered significant international attention, with an exhibition footprint spanning the globe, including the Saatchi Gallery (London), Woaw Gallery (Hong Kong), Chen Projects (Taipei), and Fir Gallery (China), demonstrating his artistic influence across cultural boundaries.
