With day one of PAVILION Taipei 2026 now in the books, Hyper Arte extends heartfelt congratulations to the visionary team at PAVILION for curating a truly innovative and aesthetically profound inaugural edition—one that reimagines the art fair as a cohesive, immersive exhibition rather than a collection of isolated booths.
By weaving themes of urban memory, nostalgia, and homecoming through unexpected dialogues between galleries—such as the thoughtful juxtaposition of our presentation alongside works from The Third Gallery—we are reminded of art’s power to bridge disparate voices and foster quiet introspection on time, belonging, and transformation. The integration of bamboo as a shared architectural language, alongside pioneering elements like the art trucks inspired by New York’s avant-garde initiatives, positions Taipei firmly within the global conversation, blending regional heritage with contemporary urgency.
We are deeply honored to contribute to this dialogue by presenting Chen Kuang-jui, whose meditative explorations in iron, rust, and sulfur water capture the fragile threshold between transience and preservation—works that resonate profoundly with PAVILION’s contemplative spirit.
As a hybrid platform dedicated to discovery, collaboration, and growth—bridging Eastern and Western perspectives while nurturing emerging talent through agile, innovative strategies—Hyper Arte is inspired by this bold new model. It signals an exciting future for Taipei’s art ecosystem and its rising international prominence.
We look forward to the enriching exchanges ahead as the fair opens to the public from January 24–26 at the Grand Courtyard.
