2026香山濕地藝術季 2026 Art Festival of Siangshan Wetland
畫廊代理藝術家陳聖文參展由新竹市政府主辦之「2026香山濕地藝術季－踏走一道波痕」，展覽於新竹市香山區正式登場。
展覽以濕地特有的「波痕」為主題，從物種爬痕與人類足跡出發，呈現不同生命在香山留下的印記。當潮水退去，細小的孔洞、泥球與被翻動過的沙土在光線裡短暫顯現，下一次潮水回來，一切又被覆蓋。
在此次展覽中，陳聖文於海山漁港展出作品《我想我們曾經來過》。藝術家將海岸上被遺棄的保麗龍浮具藏進水泥裡，讓輕與重、漂浮與沉降在同一個物件裡相遇。幾個柱體立在潮間帶，沒有真正固定位置，海水推動它們，風使它們偏移，泥沙在腳邊聚集又被帶走。
藝術家進一步透過時間與潮汐的循環，呈現物件與地景漸進演變的流動關係。時間沒有替任何事物保存原貌，只是讓一些東西慢慢改變，直到我們再也無法確定最初看見的究竟是什麼，而潮水仍然一次次重新回來。
Gallery artist Chen Sheng-Wen is currently featured in the 2026 Art Festival of Siangshan Wetland: STEP BY STEP, presented across the Siangshan District in Hsinchu City.
Centered on the concept of "ripple marks" unique to wetlands, the exhibition explores the traces left by diverse forms of life—from animal tracks to human footprints. As the tide recedes, tiny burrows, mud balls, and disturbed sand briefly appear in the light, only to be covered again when the waters return.
In this exhibition, Chen presents his work I Think We Have Been Here at Haishan Fishing Port. The artist embeds discarded styrofoam floats gathered from the coastline into concrete, allowing lightness and weight, flotation and subsidence to meet within a single object. Standing in the intertidal zone without fixed positions, these columns shift with the push of seawater and wind as mud and sand accumulate and sweep away around their bases.
Through the cycle of time and tides, the artist reflects on the fluid, evolving relationship between objects and ecological landscapes. Time preserves nothing in its original state; it simply alters things gradually until we can no longer be certain of what was initially seen, while the tides continue to return time and again.
