Current Exhibition｜ Viole(‸n)t
《Viole(‸n)t》 encapsulates the creative core of the transition from the ”Plant“ series to the ”National Highway“ series. Through the forced insertion of a lowercase ”n“ and a caret symbol ”‸“, the words ”Violet“ and ”Violent“ are made to coexist simultaneously.
Violet is the residue of perception. It originates from the artificial intervention of balcony grow lights—a heterogeneous spectrum that leaves a lingering purple afterimage on the retina. This filter was subsequently carried into the experience of long-distance driving, becoming a purple lens through which to view a pure, spiritual world stripped of its spatiotemporal context.
Violent represents the imposed order within the environment. In the ”Plant“ series, violence is manifested in the physiological intervention of forced growth—a push against nature. In ”Smiling National Highway,“ violence exists in the psychological state of oppressive endurance: during hours of high-speed movement, the body is disciplined within the narrow confines of the car, while the will is forced to remain continuously ”mounted.“
《Viole(‸n)t》 概括了從「植物」到「國道」系列的創作核心。透過字面上小寫 「n」 與插入符號 「‸」 的強行擠入，使紫色（Violet）與暴力（Violent）同時存在。
紫色（Violet） 是感知的殘留。它源於陽台生長燈的人工干預，這種異質的光譜在我的視網膜留下了揮之不去的紫色殘留。這層濾鏡隨後被帶入長途駕駛的經驗中，成為觀看一個沒有時空背景、純粹精神世界的紫色濾鏡。
暴力（Violent） 則是環境中強制的秩序。在植物系列中，暴力體現在強迫生長的生理干預，是一種違背自然的推動。在《微笑國道》中，暴力則存在於壓迫續航的精神狀態：在長達數小時的高速移動裡，身體被規訓在狹窄車室，意志被迫持續掛載。
